Death Note (All-In-One Edition)

exactly what i wanted. the whole death note series in one book. wish the packaging was better. very little air bubbles, which were all deflated when it arrived to me. put a few cosmetic dents on the book holder. but other than that, it was the product I ordered.

A really pretty book

Size wise the length & height isn't very big but it is really thick. I was really worried about damaging the spine of it so only read it by slightly opening the pages. If you've seen the anime first then this is pretty much beat for beat exactly the same except for the end. It was still a lot of fun reading through it and having the anime playing in my head again. Being a manga you have to read it backwards and that took a little bit to get used to.The drawings in it are really vivid and give you a great sense of what each characters emotions are. I don't know if I would read it again because I don't want to risk damaging it but it makes a really good display book. I loved this manga. I'd watched the anime before so I knew the basic story, but it was nothing compared to this book. It's 2000 pages of beautiful storytelling. I was originally a bit put off by the thickness, but even so I finished it in less than three days.Another great thing about this is that it's twelve books in one. If you had bought them individually, you would have spent hundreds of dollars more than buying just this book; which also includes a new short story at the end, which in none of the individual mangas.So to wrap it up, if you want to read death note; BUY IT. If you have already watched the show; BUY IT. If you don't want to read death note; probably buy it as well if you like the genre.BUY DEATH NOTE

If you've never read the series now you don't have an excuse not to. Pretty good price to pick up the whole series at rather than $10-18 a volume otherwise. Pages are thin but sturdy, spine holds tight even after re-reading, so even though they've made it a very thick volume it's good quality and its not going to fall apart on you. Box is really nice in person. Series itself is a classic. Characters are all inherently awful but compulsively readable people. Even after re-reads sometimes I pick this up and struggle to put it down. Great, simple, concept that they explore in a thousand nail biting ways.

Death Note was an amazing read!

Death Note was a very interesting and thrilling manga and very detailed and the graphics were amazing!And yes I would recommend this manga to anyone who loves thriller and horror manga.It's one of my favourite mangas and I will read it over and over again

Good and bad, but mainly good

It is the most affordable way to read Death Note, and the least space taking way. And it even has extra chapters that aren't included in the standard release. But I recommend holding it, and reading it on a pillow to not damage the spine. And be careful with the pages, they are thin like the bible

Great series

This is is a really entertaining manga series in a beautifully presented box set. My teenager requested it and was thrilled. Wonderful illustrations, suspenseful story and everything you could want in a graphic novel.

Small fat edition.

I bought this because I really like the idea of an all-in-one.Of course there are some trade offs.Like thinner pages which occasionally one can see through to the other side.Paperback which needs to be cared for least on damage it.Smaller page dimensions and an overall lesser reading experience.Nonetheless, I still like it.The price is great. The convenient storage is great. The design of the protective case, great.Really depends in the end about what you want and what you’re willing to sacrifice.Just don’t go writing my name down if you made a mistake.
