The box set was fine--a good price relative to other places. However, the web site absolutely stinks. It was glitching and having all sorts of issues while I was shopping/browsing (several times in the course of a week or so). Eventually got the order placed but without using any of my coupons because of course they weren't valid on what I purchased. And I had to pay shipping, which I almost never do anymore, plus a per-item shipping fee. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas but it took quite a while to ship then the package remained somewhere in Georgia for more than a week. Not to mention the "L true name card" (far cooler in person than any scan online!)Not a single complaint here with the exception of minor difficulty getting the 13th manga out of its private slot (no big deal, though; tip the box slightly and you're good).In summary, if you want the entire series, this is the best way to get it!

The complete 12 Death Note books with extra Death Note Encyclopedia included. The box is good quality, has a carry handle to easily transport and contain the collection and closes with added velcro security. The price I paid for this set meant we got the whole collection at a very good discounted price compared to buying each book individually. Highly recommended!

But if you see something you want and its IN STOCK, then I say go for it and buy it. The only reason im giving this review a 4 stars instead of 5 is that the packaging was a bit rough but nothing horrible. Everything was safely secured inside though. But when I did open to see the box set, the plastic wrapping of the box that holds all the volumes was ripped off or torn at some parts. But that's just the wrapping. The actual books and case were all in perfect condition.
This was such I great manga set to buy due to the fact that death note is such a deep and amazing manga which provides and surprises u with emotions of happiness to support the character and sadness when things don't go the way you want. The books were perfect and I had a great experience with them.
I really enjoyed death Note, I would definitely recommend this to people who like mystery and crime. I found Death Note appealing because there was no true hero or villain, it was just a battle between two geniuses (Light and L). L is the best, he is very goofy, Light kinda looks like Justin Bieber though.
Bought for my son and he is so happy with it. It wasn't available when I was looking for it but I went on the waiting list for it and the wait wasn't too long. Good price and service Very happy with purchase.
The manga is just as thrilling as the show - comes with an extra guide book which was a really interesting read. A must for fans of this classic.
This product I ordered online and it delivered to my house very fast and easy. The packaging was perfect as well as the product. For the value I am very pleased with my purchase. I am very pleased to have the option to buy the set of my favorite series of manga instead of having to buy each individual piece on its own. The box it came in on its own is very detailed and can be easily storaged anywhere. When opening up the box it is sealed by two velcrow pieces easy to open and close the box very impressed. The manga itself is kinda hard to get out at first, but it is very well put together.
