Dell's online customer rep was extremely helpful. I told her what size I needed, she asked a few technical questions to make sure to monitor was the right fit for my computer system, and then gave me a couple of choices. This monitor was my choice and it has year fit the bill perfectly! Also, it arrived about 48 hours later, as promised.

I have a rather basic graphics card in my computer but didn't have any trouble at all getting the settings tweaked. A little more complex than it used to be back in the day, but I love this newer monitor. For my graphics capability, (no gaming, not enough memory, resolution is only HD), this is the perfect size. Had tried a 32" TV/Monitor, but it was TOO big and was not compatible. Next thing to do would be to upgrade the graphics card. Excellent product, not only for the price, but also for the application. If you're not fancy, just looking for a clean, affordable upgrade, this is the one for you.

We teamed up the E2722HS with the Latitude 3090 Ultra and my users are loving it. It does stand kind of tall and most have asked to lower the monitor on the stand and that is no trouble at all. We are not really using anything special and this is supposed to be an Entry Level monitor but I am glad I saved the money and went with this model as I am finding it to be of equal quality as the more expensive models.

My son got this exact monitor for me for Christmas, having visited and wondered how I survived so long with so little 'real estate'. I'm now able to have several readable windows open, making my genealogy work so much simpler to handle. Paying it forward, we were able to set up my 90-something cousin with this model. She got me started in genealogy and remains my mentor, fifteen years later. She's thrilled she can make the text large enough to read for her older eyes, yet she can still get enough info on the screen to make it usable. Setup was a snap and the footprint on the desk is minimal. I can only imagine younger eyes could do with it.
Hello,I bought a computer - XPS Desktop 8950 and a monitor - Dell 27 - E2722HS (27").I did not know that the items requires a DP cable to be connected, which was not included.Find that disappointing; I had to find out what kind of cable needed & had to go find it myself.
I was disappointed that the stand for the monitor didn't allow switching between landscape and portrait orientation. It seemed this should have been disclosed in the specifications and marketing material. I almost sent it back on account of this. It forced me to buy a $90 monitor arm in order to throw the stand away.
The monitor is well packed and easy to set up. The screen looks great and the controls are easy to navigate when switching between inputs. The only problem I have encountered so far is that most of the Dell computers we have been purchasing are set up using 2 monitors. Each PC has either 1 display and 1 HDMI port, or 2 display ports. This monitor only comes with an HDMI cable. I think it would be better if it came with an HDMI and Display cable, allowing some choices without having to make a separate purchase.
Upgraded all the computers in my office. Was a little slow picking my own monitor to assure I got what I was wanting. 27 in size is big enough I can still sit a little back and not feel like I am scooting closer to clarify things. Big enough that I can have 2 windows side by side and not have to have overlap. Speakers are a plus for on-line meetings.
Excellent monitor with multiple input choices (VGA, HDMI, and Display Port). Minor assembly was easy (assemble base and attach to monitor) which took about 5 minutes (including unpacking).Only complaint (and not truly a complaint) is I had to go back to the website to download the Users Manual to understand the function of the 4 small buttons under the right side of the monitor (assumed the 5th far right was power).Like the interface to my PC through the Dell Display Manager Software (that I did not know existed until I searched for the Users Manual) which works even when using a VGA (analog) input to control at least brightness and contrast.
Why sell a monitor without video cable. It only came with HDMI.The monitors are good but had to wait another 5days to purchase video cable separately.Monitors aren't Laptops, it requires the plug-ins to function.
