The photos online may not show it but this backpack is an "anti theft backback". Its main compartment (where your laptop will be kept) cannot be accessed when you are wearing the backpack. It can be unzipped only from under the shoulder straps. This definitely makes it a good option when safety of your laptop is concerned but otherwise it can get a little inconvenient even for the owner to open the compartment. But this inconvenience is minor compared to the advantage of knowing your laptop cannot be stolen from the backpack while in a crowd.

Nice & lightweightPadded internal pocket for a tablet/small laptopEasy access external pocket & mess water bottle holders on each sideYou actually need to fold the shoulder straps out of the way to be able to load the bag up but they hold in place so it’s not a big issue.I bought mine to take my drink bottles, lunch & a few basic teachers bits to work with me. I’ve used it for 2 weeks now & im happy with the product.

Yes the pricepoint is good but that's where it ends, everything else is poor - the quality is dubious and I suspect the straps and zips will not endure too much strain. This is to be fair an 'entry' item, the price point lets you know that. The biggest gripe I have is the location of the zip to them main compartment lies behind the shoulder straps meaning it is really awkward to get to and to load the backpack. You have to rotate the straps around to the front of the pack, unfastening them all to enable access. Its just silly. So many backpacks are over-thought. This hits the sweet spot of simplicity and functionality. Not a lot of extra pockets that never quite align with what you own or need anyway. The laptop and main pocket zipper is under the shoulder straps which prevents someone from opening it while wearing it in line or standing on the bus or something. The rear pocket is smaller and perfect for holding smaller items, phone or my lunch. This pack is perfect as my "daily driver."
I use it for my 14" laptop. I like it partly because my previous laptop backpack had a shoulder strap issue just in a year but this backpack's shoulder straps are tightly connected to the main baggage. And the reflective prints on the front panel is really cool! The main internal space is spacious. As the main zipper is under the shoulder straps, it sometimes adds a couple actions, but most times adds more a feeling of security and confidence. The front side additional space is also easy to use.
I purchased this backpack for Christmas for my 19-year old son for his Dell G15 Risen Editon laptop. It was reasonably priced and on sale for Christmas. The laptop is on the larger size (its a gaming laptop too), and this backpack accomodates his laptop with no issues. It also accomodates my son's charger for his laptop which is very big and heavy. The backpack is nice; however, I gave it 4 stars because the main zipper compartment to hold your laptop is actually behind the straps of the backpack. You need to flip back and move over the straps in order to gain access to the zipper. I thinks its oddly designed. I am sure there is a reason it was designed like this, but I have to say, I don't like it. My son thinks its fine, but he hadsn''t used it yet for college.
Seems sturdy enough. I'm a little confused about the positioning of the straps over the zipper of the main opening. They have to be held out of the way or inverted to put anything into the backpack, which is rather inconvenient. Also, I'm a little surprised that there's no small pouch to hold pens and highlighters upright, just a half pouch on the front that's good for power cords. I expected a space for writing utensils to be standard for a backpack, especially one that is best suited for carrying a laptop and textbooks. I'm happy to have a dedicated pouch to protect my laptop at least.
This is the second of these I've purchased for our company over the last month. They last and are made for the computers we have. There is a good amount of space in them for a mouse, charger, documents and other items. It is comfortable and seems durable. There were less expensive backpacks but it is hard to put money into something carrying a computer that might not last and might not protect the computer. This is worth the money.
Very poor design. Impossible to use when commuting, main compartment can't be accessed without taking the bag fully off and even then is difficult to access as the straps entirely cover the opening. The front compartment is too small even for essentials. Drinks pockets are too small to fit a bottle in! Already looking for a replacement. Very disappointed.
