I use this for chemistry related research. It does everything I need and more. I do not use it for gaming. I usually upgraded to Windows 11 and am very happy with the system. The whole family also used it for their own needs at home. I never have to worry about it being slow because multiple people are logged in.

Seems to be good hardware. Doesn't require much room, and has feet on two sides so it can be a tower or desktop. Fast. Good amount of memory and SSD space. It was set up on Sunday, used on Monday, then Tuesday morning it spent about half an hour booting / updating / whatever. That didn't happen Weds. or Thurs. I don't know why or whether it had to do with the hardware. This is my first Win 10 PC. I'm visually impaired, and use special themes / personalization settings in Windows (as well as third party software.) I'm still getting established. As far as I can tell, these are the matters I'm dealing with, not hardware issues.

We purchased this Dell OptiPlex 7070 HCWPX Desktop Computer, Intel i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD and in the question section someone had asked if this computer worked with wifi and the answer was a simple yes. We received the computer and found that wifi was not part of the compute. We had to purchase a wifi card to access wifi. Very disappointed that is was not made clear in the description that it did not include wifi. I would not have purchased this if I had known. We were stuck in a situation of needing a computer that day and none could be simply picked up the same day at Staples, so we were stuck with this lousy computer.

It's a bit early for a comprehensive review. But I purchased the machine for home use. I got it set up with all my programs, files, etc in about three days. There was a lot to clean up in the old machine. Transitioning the email profile was the trickiest part. The computer it replaced was coming up on 10 years old this summer. It had a first generation core i7 chip. It would take me at least 15-20 minutes to startup, login, and download email. The new machine accomplishes this in less than 30 seconds.
My first experience with this company was a disaster, and it will be my lat. I ordered 4 Dell Optiplex 7070 Micro Desktops, taxes in - $2000. Two of the four arrived with 90W power supplies instead of 130W. One even had a sticker that read "For 7060". One was filthy inside and had to be blown out. All had their NVMe storage removed and replaced with 2.5" used junk. The 7070 was released in 2020; one of the replacement drives was date-stamped 2016. Ultimately, I replaced all the used SSD's with brand new Samsung drives, since I could not depend on the garbage I received. Unfortunately, by the time I received the shipment, I only had one day to deliver them to the customer, who in turn was shipping them to a new office out of town. There was no time to return or ... Unfortunately, by the time I received the shipment, I only had one day to deliver them to the customer, who in turn was shipping them to a new office out of town. There was no time to return or replace anything. I purchase hundreds of refurbished laptops and desktops for customers each year, and I have never witnessed anything so unprofessional. I'm feeling scammed here; I thought I was getting Dell OEM, and instead got whatever someone pulled out of a bargain box. I also thought I had found a new supplier, but I would be afraid to buy anything from them now.
Not into gaming, just needed an update to my 8 year old mid size tower for browsing the web and general office type work. I was impressed on how well laid out the inside of the SFF box was, and how easy it was to add an extra memory chip and SSD. Also, In searching for a new computer, I wanted to future proof it with at least one USB 3.1 type C socket. I didn't read the specs carefully and didn't notice that it had only DisplayPort connections to monitor. After it arrived, I had to order a DisplayPort to HDMI cord to hook up my old monitor.
Bought this with idea of adding second 2.5 SSD drive. Took half hour on phone with Dell to determine which data cable to use (not obvious); plus you have to buy a caddy to hold the drive. No wifi or bluetooth, as description says. Dell will sell you a wifi/bluetooth card for $140. I bought a non-dell for much less, but alas, even though description says there's an available slot for the card, after another 45 minutes on the phone with Dell, turns out there isn't. Now waiting for a usb wifi to arrive.
This is a Scam. We bought 3 computers and they all are used! also lose parts and all 3 have a blurry sticker saying "refurbished" but in the advertisement, never say that these computers are USED or REFURBISHED as required by law. This is a Scam and abuse with the customer.
This is advertised as a new computer tower. There's nothing that describes it as refurbished and the info is very misleading to make you think it is new at a substantial discount. The reconditioning is far less than professional with bent metal covers on back and coverings peeling off. Not one single piece of paper or receipt included in the box. Tried to pull up a receipt online for return and the link leads nowhere. Don't even know how to return it. Complete waste of time and money. Unbelievable.
You can't beat one of these little Micro PCs - fast and a free copy of Windows 11 PRO for $400. Only thing to note is that the hardware is out of warranty but that is what you would expect for a re-conditioned unit anyway so all good !
