Best keyboard/mouse purchase

I switched over from Logitech MX keyboard/mouse and all I can say is WOW. The keyboard is so smooth while typing and extremely silent. The mouse is very comfortable and glides like a dream. Absolutely love the sleek look yet solid feel. Great batteries on both. Integrated collaboration for video calls is super intuitive and comes in handy. I purchased one for in office use and will be purchasing another for my home office I like it so much. I haven't been this pleased with a keyboard/mouse ever. Fantastic!

Quietest/softest Keyboard ever used. Very soft/comfy mouse wth left to right scroll making spreadhseets easier in addition to up/down. Connection via Wifi or BT sets this apart with quick easy transfer from laptop connection to iPad and just the click of a button - can connect to 3 different devices easily. I love the Zoom/Teams controls built into the keyboard and the backlight is strong. Love that they made both keyboard and mouse recharbable vs. battery powered via Type-C.

Everything I was looking for.

I love this keyboard and mouse. It is the combination of all the good things I hoped for when shopping. Pros: backlit, wireless (2 channels BT, 1 channel dongle), simple, easy to operate, super quiet, and heavy (does not slide around), Charges with USB-C. Design flaws: The keys are back lit, but the light bleeds out the sides of the keys. The bleed light is larger and brighter than the actual character, which makes it hard to read unless you head is directly above the KB. The F Keys usually have a larger gap at F4/F5 and F8/F9. A gap is provided, but it is not enough to make a difference. I could not find onboard compartment storage for the USB fob. I don't use this now and am afraid it will get lost. I don't understand why the USB fob is USB-A and the charging port ... MoreI love this keyboard and mouse. It is the combination of all the good things I hoped for when shopping. Unfortunately, people who buy Dell products most likely use professional platforms like MS teams while Zoom is more for schools and family. Wishlist: I would like to have a built-in webcam at the top of the keyboard, something that can deploy up about 6 inches and be tucked away when not in use. I would like to try a version with the number pad on the left, so the mouse and numbers are not fighting for the same ergonomic space. Sure I would need to learn 10 key for my left hand, but that is doable.

Fantastic keyboard
10 January 2024

This is a great keyboard and mouse. Feels very high quality and responsive and both being rechargeable saves having to deal with batteries. After using for some time there are 2 improvements that would make it perfect.First, it is possible to connect to 3 devices, two via Bluetooth and one via dongle. Both mouse and keyboard have a button to cycle between them. If you only have 2 devices then you still need to cycle through the 3 devices. So you press once to connect to computer A then press twice to connect to computer B. It would be great if ignored the unconnected device.Second, it would be great if pressing the button on the keyboard also changed the mouse to save having to press buttons on both devices.

Good with some glitches.

Really nice to go to cordless and get rid of cord clutter on work table and also free up USB ports for other peripherals. Lit keyboard mostly allows me to avoid having to turn on the lamp at night, though the sensor take a while to operate, so sometimes better to activate it by just start typing then backspace to correct initial typo errors. Bad thing is, both seem to freeze up now 1-2 per day, and can't figure out why. I check the bluetooth connection under settings on my Dell Precision 7670 laptop (which is also great for seeing the % remaining battery charge left on both), but they just seem to randomly start working again in a few minutes. Great quality backlit keyboard / mouse combo - expensive
17 August 2024

The keyboard build quality is excellent, the backlight is subtle but sufficient, the travel is low, the feedback feels great, the sound is quiet but hearable. All in all, outstanding feedback for accurate typing. The mouse is a comfortable medium size and tracks well. Press the small button to toggle haptic feedback on the wheel.Very pleased with every aspect of the keyboard and mouse - except the price. It is eye wateringly expensive. The non-backlit alternative is probably better value, unless you work in low light.

Premium keyboard and mouse combo

I love it.It is a premium keyboard with a nice texture and backlit keys. Dell uses quality materials for the keyboard. I was in between buying this keyboard and a Logitech premium keyboard. I didn't choose the Logitech keyboard because it has too many symbols on the keys (for Windows and Mac).Dell has software for the keyboard and the mouse where you can personalise the keys by assigning the action you want; you can check the battery status, adjust the keys backlit, and check for software updates. Quality and Quantity

I've often wondered how our computer hardware seems to feel more cheaply made than it did when we started out in the previous millennium. Especially the input devices. The cheap chicklet buttons and shiny plastic surfaces. Battery covers that don't fit correctly. Well, it turns out, that buying the cheap stuff is the "Best Value Proposition" for our employers. When I went to buy for myself, I found alternatives that have much more quality. This keyboard has density. It feels like quality. It is tactile and the buttons are both comfortable and responsive. Both, the keyboard and mouse are rechargeable, so there are no batteries. The mouse is programmable as well, with a small catalog of functions to choose from. It has a very personal feel to it as well. Whenever I approach it, it lights up with expectation. It really feels like an extension of functionality that makes the interface more fluid.I've always felt the quality of a system has a lot to do with the transduction devices. The inputs and outputs. The record player needle and the floor speakers. And this is no different. Noticeable high quality!

Smooth, fast and accurate
20 November 2023

The keyboard works really smooth and excellent to use it in the dark thanks to the lighted keys. The convenience of charging it through usb as opposed to the old fashion batteries is fenomenal. The well ergonomically designed mouse is the best on this price range. I love how the mouse is still highly accurate on the fastest moving setting. I also love how Dell removed the batteries in the mouse as well!

Very good
23 August 2024

The Dell KM900 Premier Collaboration Keyboard has a great tactile feel on the fingertips with a punchy but soft key response. The key surface is excellent, with a waxy feel. The matching KM900 Mouse is wrapped in the same material with the top a smooth plastic that enables one to glide it smoothly and click on the buttons and wheel responsively. My only complaint is the Mouse is contoured for a right-handed person and I use my left; leading me to hold the Mouse with my pinky and ring finger instead of my thumb (which would be more comfortable). I have contacted Dell regarding the availability of a left-handed Mouse and await a response.
