This is a great work and personal use monitor but for a price! Due to a lower refresh rate, this monitor is only good for light gaming, serious gamers should look elsewhere. Very impressed with the packaging and easy directions - recommended to use two people to move from the box to the setup location as it is bulky and easy to damage the screen. Oh, Windows 11 has very easy screen designs so no need to download software to help divide up the screen space. Very happy with this device.

I am impressed with the overall experience I had with Dell. This monitor was delivered in 2 days before than the actual delivery date, which was a big surprise for me. The box was carefully designed and monitor was just snugged into it. No chance of getting damaged. It literally took me 2 min to setup and hookup the monitor to my kvm.The picture quality is amazing, the screen is sleek and does not take much space on my desk.I'd highly recommend monitor if someone is looking for 27" QHD.
I have been using an SE2723DS for more than half a year and everything has been great! The clarity on this QHD model is crisp and the colors look awesome, which makes it great for both work and leisurely activities like watching videos. The 3-side thin bezel makes the monitor look sleek, and moving to this larger screen from a 24” has made it easier on my eyes.Set-up is extremely simple and the height adjustable stand is a huge plus for comfort because the monitor can easily be adjusted to eye-level.The quality of the product makes me proud that #iworkforDell. To me, it’s really worth if you’re looking for a lower-cost monitor for your everyday use.
I picked this monitor out almost two months ago at time of writing, when it was on sale after Black Friday. Even at full price, it compared well to other 27" monitors in both I/O and screen resolution. This Dell SE2723DS won out because it has multiple video-ins, 2 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort, and the design is clean and unobtrusive, without sacrificing any usability to achieve that look. The included monitor stand is also height-adjustable, which my previous monitor didn't have, and it allows me to have the monitor almost flush with the top of my desk, all the way to about 7" off the desk. While the monitor does support standard VESA mounting holes for non-Dell mounting solutions (i.e. monitor arms, multi-monitor stands, etc.) the included stand clicks into place and ... While the monitor does support standard VESA mounting holes for non-Dell mounting solutions (i.e. monitor arms, multi-monitor stands, etc.) the included stand clicks into place and blends in with the monitor's rear panel curvature to make it appear as a seamless part of the product. Picture quality is great, with 1440p being the ideal resolution for a 27" display, and the on-screen display is clearly laid out and easy to use. If using the monitor with multiple video sources, it is also able to detect and auto-switch to an active source if you turn off or unplug the currently-viewed source, which makes input switching really convenient. The only complaint I'd say I have is that the monitor stand, while well-designed and well-integrated, is a little wobbly (it's rather thin, comparatively) if you have it adjusted to as tall as it goes. Other than that, this monitor is absolutely worth the price, full or discounted, if you're looking for a no-nonsense plug-and-play upgrade to your existing display, or if you need to replace a similarly-sized monitor for something newer.
I purchased two Dell 27 Monitor - SE2723DS to replace two ten year old Dell U2412 IPS monitors that were loosing brightness. I am disappointed in my purchase. The colors seem unnatural and flat, the word type is pixelated, and the contrast and brightness are fighting each other. My color display calibrator can't resolve the issues either. The quality of these monitors is inferior to my previous Dell's and the stands are horrible. The monitors shake at the slightest touch. Obviously, all of my photography that was previously perfect now looks unacceptably poor. All in all not satisfied with the Dell 27 Monitor - SE2723DS.
I was reluctant to buy this monitor. I had a fairly new Samsung curved screen that cost alot of money. When I had to pull it out of the recessed area that I had it in the screen cracked somehow. I was looking for another Samsung monitor but not a curved screed. Office Depot had this Dell monitor so I called my son who is an IT Director and he advised me to go ahead an purchase it. I did so and it fits perfectly in the recessed area because it has an adjustable base. So far it is doing great.
I previously purchased the Acer Nitro XV272U, which is very good but had to return it because it uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) in the backlight. PWM is basically the backlight is flashing so fast that it's not visible to the naked eye. However, it can be very sensitive, causing eye strain and headaches. Therefore, I researched other monitors, and Dell support confirmed that the SE2723DS does not use PWM. I gave this monitor a try, and I'm very impressed with the image quality and I am able to work several hours on it with no eye strain and headaches. It also fits my light gaming needs.
