The presentation of this toaster is as promised, it looks nice, is off white, has a nice retro feel, and does all the things that you expect - reheat, thick slices/muffin/bagel, defrost but like so many other toasters I have owned, it does not toast evenly on both sides of the bread, in either slot. Nor does the bread get heated up, and toasted, it is just dried out and toasted one side of the slice, the other side in not toasted at all. For half price, and delivered to my door, in two days and before it was supposed to arrive it gets 9/10, but as a toaster it fails, you might as well use it as a pot plant holder and grow ivy and mint out of both slots, it would be a better use. Bought the matching toaster and kettle, whereas the kettle is a piece of junk, the toaster is on the other end of the spectrum, it is great and toasts the bread beautifully. Hopefully the toaster will last unlike the kettle which went rusty in a week and a half, and the replacement in four weeks. Both returned to Myer. Very disappointed not to have a matching set.

I've had the same model before, and thoroughly enjoyed using. It eventually naturally died, and so I decided to buy a second one. Unfortunately the second toaster cooks unevenly. The inside of the toaster cooks faster than the outside, causing one side to consistently burn. Quite unhappy with the purchase.

The toaster is very simple with not too many fancy functions & buttons you will likely never use. It does its core job (toast) well & the limited functionality means it is built with simple components that will last.My only criticism would be that it would have been nice to have a finer finish on the exterior.
Nice looking toaster however I would say it functions just as well as a lower-priced toaster. The toaster setting take a little bit of fiddling around to get the right browning of your piece of toast and this can depend on the thickness of your bread. Looks nice on the benchtop.
Our family loves Poppy! She has become a firm favourite in our household. Having our homemade bread toasted ever so slightly so the butter melts easily. My favourite is firm toast with avocado, a splash of fresh lemon squeezed over the avocado and some salt sprinkled on top. Poppy is small enough not to take up too much space. Elegant with her silver trimmings and is just fantastic on the setting you prefer. She is perfect.
Good decent priced toaster. Build quality a bit lite but much better than your standard no frills toaster as this didnt make your bread to fly away when it pops. Have bagel option which make is a plus.
Have been fighting with an older toaster for many years and finally after much research decided on the DeLonghi. Before the toast was always half done or over done. After adjusting the DeLonghi everything is right with the world. No more indecision, plus the bagel option works great. Nice stylish appearance. A little pricey but piece of mind is worth it. Would recommend.
Im glad im invested in this toaster ! My bread is no longer burnt and no need to stand there physically watching my brews toast. It makes the bread stillSoft and you adjust the toast level you want which is great for everyone in the house
