Bought this from the De longhi refurbished site, so got it for almost half the normal price!Arrived super quick and looks like brand new! Easy to use and delivers great tasting coffee. I love the fact that once its ground the beans and filtered the coffee it deposits a round disc in the spent coffee tray - genius! No awkward cleaning just dump the discs in the compost bin! Be aware that this is quite a big machine but it fits in well in my kitchen

Excellent coffee machine. Purchased this as an upgrade to my existing de'longhi espresso machine as wanted a bean to cup. It is easy to use and looks amazing sat in the kitchen. It is certainly larger than my old machine but thankfully i have plenty of space on the breakfast bar. This will dominate a smaller kitchen though so be mindful of this when purchasing. Apart from the main power switch at the rear of the machine, everything else can be operated from the front so there is no need to move it once it is in situ which is handy. This includes cleaning and refilling the water tank. The milk frother/steamer is not, in my opinion, as effective as my previous machine but i rarely use that as have a separate milk heater anyway. Amazing price, amazing coffee, what other reason do you need to buy one? Refurbished but you would genuinely never know other than some coffee bean powder and drips of water in the tank ( just as the description states! ) Looks great and really pleased. Bean to cup for less than 250!

Pros: Fast to make nice cup of coffee. When using coffee beans, you can make two cups single or double espresso. Also you can use ground coffee. I think this mashing it's better than fully automatic mashing which have milk container, because you can make any kind of milk with milk froster and less time involved with cleaning, it's look better without milk container.Cons: To often to descale this mashing, every month. It's takes 35 min and you have to use Delonghi descaler or you void the warranty. You can buy 500 ml bottle and it can last you for half a year. I am using filtered water for my machine and cooking.
Pros: AppearanceCons: After following all the instructions, produces the coffee in drips and for a long coffee it grinds coffee twice and pours the coffee in drips. making it a long process. Also no matter how many times I attempt to change the strength it’s the Same. I bought this has my friend bought one a couple of years ago, slightly different model, Which Produces fast and mellow coffee.
Pros: Upgraded from a magnifica s and the adjustable strength and additional types of drink are fantastic. It is a great machine fir coffee lovers and the steam wand is so much better than the automatic milk on our old machine. Consistency of the milk and foam is a game changer.Cons: None

If you've had an espresso machine before then don't expect this to be as good. This made good milky coffees but I don't think the grinder was great so the crema was almost non-existent. I insisted on a refund as was sure it was faulty, but maybe it wasn't. Regardless, I don't think this machine is for those wanting espresso. By default the coffee dose is 'medium' (around 10g) so if you like a double shot (arrived 14g) then you have to manually select it each time, it won't remember your choice. Pros: Absolutely love this machine. Received as a gift and it makes the best coffee. Easy to use, just follow the instructions until you get familiar. Would definitely recommend.Cons: Just remember to put a jug or mug where the coffee is delivered as it does a clear through before and after use. The tray does allow for water to be collected but it’s easier to just pour away from a jug.

The water filter in the tank is a nice touch and is easy to fit, worth noting replacements are reasonably priced and help protect your purchase. Understandably loud as all bean cup to machines are but not excessive. The drip tray takes a pounding as every time it sleeps or you switch it on it will purge a shot of water so I tend to keep a cup under it rather than wielding the large drip tray and coffee ground container. This also highlights the size of the water tank but does not prove an issue as refilling is easy. Pros: Looks slick!Good milk frothing. Makes coffee quicker than other machines. An easy machine to use and we have had 4 different models in the past. Good coffee grinder. Good CremaCons: I would have liked to see the beans, instead they are tucked in the back of the machine and if the machine is under a kitchen cupboard a bit awkward to see inside. The arm of the frother could be slightly longer but so much better than earlier models.
