Dead silent, as a radiator does, radiates evenley a beautiful warmth. Fan is quiet and helps direct the heat if needed, although not necessary to keep on. Maintains wamrth after switched off which is handy and has made my open garage way more inviting to use during the night. Should be a good long-term investment!

This is such an efficient heater, its fantastic, compact, stylish and easy to operate. It is easy to move around on wheels yet stable when stationary and heats up the room in no time at all. All metal and its solid, its well made and holds a fantastic amount of heat all night even on the lowest setting. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing another for these cold wintery days and night. Delonghi also had the longest warranty and the best price for a 2400w with a timer.

Warms up the room quickly and very efficiently, and maintains the heat very well. Much better than a convection heater! And so much more economical $$$. Have given 4 stars as it is a bit heavy to carry from room to room/ upstairs/ downstairs, but otherwise very happy - but considering buying another one so we don't need to keep moving it around. It is a good buy.

I'm really impressed with this heater. I live in a small apartment and it warms up the living area efficiently and fast. It has several heat modes, I've not needed to put it on the highest so I think it's doing a good job. The feature I like most is the timer, I've set it to suit my routine. I don't use the fan option, it's a little noisy, great for a burst of heat or directed heat. I'm not disappointed with my purchase at all. I bought this online for pickup from Harvey Norman Moore Park, it was a seamless experience with the staff person waiting at the pick up area with my heater. So impressed.
It didn't heat up the whole room.A burning type smell was happening within two hours of having it on at the highest heat. I took it back to The Good Guys from where I bought it, received a very rude 45 minute lecture and they decided there was nothing wrong with it after switching it on for a few minutes (their shop is way bigger than my house). They repackaged it in order to resell, not believing my experience. I told them that when I opened the box, it had looked half wrapped.They gave me a refund less 20% of the purchase price.I bought another heater online (Dimplex) and the whole room is warm and safe. I have this heater constantly going and am happy.I will not purchase DeLonghi again nor shop at Good Guys again.
Beautiful heater , perfect size for and old cottage style standard size room with 6ft ceilings.Ive only used it twice and its been perfect. I left the bedroom door fully open each time Ive used it as I need to be able to hear my senior mum if she calls out for assistance.Having heating thats silent is lovely.Each time I came back to the room you could feel the beautiful warmth.Love the little fan for the boost to circulate the heat faster and the placement of the fan faces me. Ive only used the fan option for a short time as thats all it really needed.I was concerned about the spacing needed as I have it in font of a wardrobe and Im pleased that only approximately 20 centimetres is needed. So it suits small or tight areas. I’ve quite a big area and it warns the area up quite easily. I was surprised at how efficient it was. Love the timer as I set it to come on in the morning to take the edge off the cold! The fan is pretty noisy so I use that as little as I can. Do need another heater to help on those really cold nights but expected that due to the size of the room.
I used to live in the uk where oil heaters are common. I never thought this heater would be anywhere near as effective but it has been a godsend through this current cold snap. I love the timer and set it to kick in at 4am, however havent really needed to use the fan because it begins taking the chill off the air fast enough. I am very happy with this heater. Very easy to move around even when hot - just have to use the handle and avoid touching the rad itself.
Upgraded our small cheap fan heater for this Delonghi oil heater and I haven't looked back.It heats a room to the perfect temperature and suprisingly quick as well. We live in a brick apartment which tends to be colder Inside than it is outside during the winter months. This heater is a life saver. Love it and worth every penny. Delivery was quick and painless too!
