De'Longhi EXAM440.55.G Rivelia Bean To Cup Coffee Machine - Grey

I was extremely lucky to receive this coffee machine for free from Influenster and Delonghi for my honest review. I've been using the Rivelia coffee machine for the last two weeks and I am honestly blown away with how amazing this machine really is. It's really easy to make barista quality coffees at the touch of a button (or should I say screen) and the taste of the coffees from the machine would rival any coffee shop I've ever visited. It was really easy to setup and the touchscreen on top of the machine guides you step by step throught the setting up process, which I found more useful then reading the manual (which does also come in the box). It was really easy to setup and the touchscreen on top of the machine guides you step by step throught the setting up process, which I found more useful then reading the manual (which does also come in the box). I love the fact that you can choose from one of the preset coffees (such as caffelatte, latte machiatto, flat white etc) or customise any of these to your preference and you can save this so the machine will remeber your preference for the next time you select the same coffee. You can also save different profiles, so other people in your household can customise any of the preset coffees to their specific liking (which is handy for me and my partner as we like our coffees at different strengths). The machine comes with two interchangeable bean hoppers which is great if you want to try different types of beans, you don't have to wait until you've used your current beans, you can just switch the hoppers and away you go. I also like the fact that when the machine has finished making the coffee it tells you via the touch screen on the top for you to clean the milk dispenser (you turn the dial to the clean setting on top of the milk dispenser) and the machine also runs water through the coffee dispenser when turning it off. The machine also tells you when it's time to empty the coffee grounds too, which is handy. I know this machine is quite pricey but from the build and quality this will last for a long time to come. If you're a coffee lover that wants barista coffees within the comfort of your own home which you can customise to your own liking, the Delonghi Rivelia is for you and I would highly recommend this machine.

Delicious coffee

I bought this to replace a 17 year old De'longhi Bean to Cup machine and i have not been disappointed. It is neater than my previous machine and have to admit my heart sank when I opened the box at the prospect of setting it up. But actually it was extremely easy. You can choose a range of coffees styles, size strength etc and the machine will record your preferences. You can also just have hot milk or water although i have not used either of these. The coffee has been really delicious, excellent crema and the milk frothing bit is very easy to use and importantly very easy to clean. Not the worst, not the best.

My machine says I’ve made 168 black coffees 114 with LatteCrema. So that’s my use so far in the last couple months. I’ve tried all the variations and received the Fathe’s day pack so tried the machine with Delonghi’s choice in coffee beans as well as other supermarket and local roaster beans. So here is my fair review (I think)The machine is great for coffee (non milk) drinks. The hoppers are great and changing between decaf and regular is a breeze. The machine is small, quick to heat up. This machine is OUT-FREAKING-STANDING!

When I saw this machine being advertised, I legitimately thought that it was just another ad for over priced coffee machine that makes a much better coffee than instant or sachets and even the pod machines, but there was no way on this earth that it would make a coffee as good as a barista. The more I watched it the more it got me thinking, then I realised that I was spending $2500 a year on coffee's and that's just having one a day! So I decided I work really hard for my money, I would buy one, try it, if it didn't do what it was being advertised as doing I would take it back for a refund. So being as sceptical as I was, unboxing was exciting, I made the first coffee, and can I say it blew me away. Wouldn't be without it!

I bought this automatic coffee machine a few months back and have finally gotten around to reviewing it. Let me just start by saying that I wouldn't now want to be without it! I based my purchase on previous reviews but I did note some people were commenting that it only produced small drink sizes and that the temperature of the drinks was not hot enough. When you first set the machine up it is set in default mode in terms of both drink size and heat level, both are set to medium. These things are easy to change in the settings and I now have mine set to 'hot' for all drinks. Each drink you choose to create can be adapted to your liking so if you want a larger drink you just opt for large or extra large. I wanted a fully automated version for ease of use and this is exactly what this machine provides even down to descaling. I have carried out one full descale so far and it was so straightforward. In between cleaning is equally as straightforward with the machine clearing the milk frother and coffee dispenser with each use. Be warned, do keep a cup constantly under the coffee dispenser because when you turn it on it heats up and dispenses some water and then when you turn it off it clears the coffee dispenser and releases some more water. You could let it flow into the drip tray but you would probably find yourself constantly having to empty it. My overall conclusion in terms of my experience is that I find this machine very easy to use and maintain and the drinks delivered are delicious so much so that I try to restrict myself to one or two a day!

What a machine! I am a big coffee fan and have always owned manual machines grinding and frothing the milk myself. I was excited to try this machine and even booked an online consult, which I didn’t need as the machine is so easy to set up and use! The screen runs through everything to do with setting it up so you can make your coffee also set up profiles and even get the perfect amount of coffee in your favourite cup at the right strength and intensity for you. Our first few coffees were not great but this was simply due to the machine being new. Once we had made about six coffees experimenting with grinds and different types of coffee the end product is just amazing, I will honestly never go back to my old manual coffee machine! And it's quite a lot of things to remove and then attach backTip:Keep a cup under the coffee machine as it runs hot water at the beginning to warm the machine , at the end to clean it, and the frother needs pre clean after each use.It's a nice-looking machine which you need to learn how to operate and find your favourite coffee.
