Was so excited to bring home the Laspecialista Coffee MachineSet it up on my kitchen bench, filled it with fresh beans and filtered water, placed a cup under the coffee descender, pushed the button and voila water just poured out of the bottom of the thing. Did this 3 times until I packed it back in the box and took it back for a refund. Look at the reviews of this product, so many complaints about the exact same thing. Cost me time and money, the closest store with stock was 25 kms away. Could sy I was not happy Jan.Very dissatisfied and disappointed ☹️

Makes a better coffee than 80% of cafes in Melbourne.Great machine for the price and worth considering if you enjoy good coffee. It requires a few adjustments to get the grind and coffee volume just right for your tastes.

Easy to clean, makes decent espresso. Very clear instructions on usage. There are heaps of tutorials online from Delonghi, which are super useful! The smart tamper tool does its job but I recommend getting a separate coffee tamper. Nonetheless, it is a great domestic machine to get started on espresso making.
Its one of the best coffee machines.Price was great and delivery came 2 mths earlier than expected. It so easy to use.Saves going out and buying coffees. You can have barista coffees every single day.
Absolutely love this. Had the smeg machine before this and this is way better. Only thing I’m not happy with is I have had to descale the machine every week and a half so far. Definitely don’t make 200 coffees in that time. Rescaling takes me about an hour. Otherwise super happy with it.
Bought this as I like a good cup of coffee and the pods weren't cutting it anymore. This machine gives you a beautiful barista style coffee without hassle. It does take a little while to perfect the pressure according to your bean etc but once it is setup than it is super easy! The large water container means that even with having 2-3 coffees per day, sometimes more, I only have to refill it every 1-2 weeks. The internal tamper is great to reduce mess and clutter on your work surface as well. The cup warmer on the top, whilst it doesn't stay warm when the machine is on standby/off it warms up very quickly. You can start grinding your bean as soon as you switch on the machine whilst the other elements are still in their warming phase, by the time the grind is done ... I am new to manual coffee machines but this one is really easy to use.Some tricks not in the manual:- If the grind amount is wrong and you want to abort, just turn the handle back to the begin position. This can let you manually adjust the amount of grind.- If you want espresso but turn out getting water first since it was set to "long black", prepare another cup and turn the type dial, then quickly replace the cup. It will stop delivering water and start delivering espresso

I bought this coffee machine 1 month ago , it was really nice look and function, but I can't understand why designer use plastic material to build the steam nozzle which has high temperature steam go through , and it brings the plastic smell to the coffee. I thought that plastic smell would disappear few days later, but it didn't after one month. I could not bear any more, just worry about the food safety ,so I returned this machine to the shop.
