These settings are not indicated on the machine meaning I have to get the manual out or go online to watch a settings video. A simple sticker 'hidden' on the outside of the 'coffee-poo' container (?) would solve this.Hot water not really hot enough to make proper tea. Hot juice and maybe some infusions, yes, builders tea, no.No hot milk option, which is a shame, my wife would like this for hot chocolate. This might be possible by selecting the Latte option, taking all the milk and then cancelling the drink before the coffee is put in, but it might waste a shot of coffee. I haven't tried it. A hot milk option could be accessed by pressing the Hot Water option and just having the machine take all the milk from the frother (like the Latte).Bit noisy in operation, but probably no more so than similar machines.Seems to use more water in cleaning cycles (when turning on and off) than I actually use in coffee, though, have never had a stale tasting coffee so the self-cleaning clearly works.Initial set-up was a bit fiddly. The controls are designed for quick and convenient use. The waste water tank at the buttom is easy to detach and handle. I like the modern design of the machine and the way it looks in the kitchen. Cleaning the surface and the internal parts are quite easy. The outer surface stays cleane if water droplets are not left to sit on it. I haven't noticed too much of an issue with finger prints. I would have enjoyed an LCD for the functions but considering that it could add a couple of hundred dollars to the price and also the neat and beautiful design of the control panel, I guess I stay with this one.

The Delonghi Mangnifca EVO is sooo simple to set up and to use. I love that there is a video available and the step by step instructions as I am a busy Dad with not a of time to read a long manual. With preset options, additional hot water, simple milk froth/steamer, in machine bean grinder which makes keeping the machine cleaning easy, temperature adjustment even the deep overflow tray. My only down side was using pre-ground coffee. It did make a mess as I put the ground coffee before selecting it as an option. But as I mentioned its easy to clean and you only make that mistake once! What I love the most is the preset options. The temperatures are perfection however it if you like it a little hotter very easy to adjust. For me however perfect 65degrees everytime.

Initial setup of the machine is painful as the instructions are in pictures. But once set up, it is very easy to use and get your head around. I just wanted something simple to use and that does almost everything for you. The water tank could be larger if making coffees for a few people, as well as the milk canister. Theres no flat white button but you can still make one, just need to press more than one button. Trying to work out your coffee/milk ratio with different sized cups/mugs is my challenge at the moment, but its all trial and error. Makes a great coffee. I loveeeeee it! It gets 4 instead of 5 stars because of the terrible instruction booklet and not being able to select a cup size.

You simply put your coffee beans in the top of the machine, put water in the container on the side & the machine is ready to go within moments. The coffee is ground fresh in the machine for every cup. The hot water spout is great for making tea, hot chocolate etc. You can customise the water temperature to what you like. When you press the steam button, you can make hot frothy milk. We have made excellent froth from plant based milks also. There is a good depth from the coffee spout to the tray. so a tall mug will fit, or you can pull down the spout for a short mug. So simple to clean. After a while the machine will clean itself by running water through. When the used coffee grounds container is full, you simply empty the tray. This machine makes a great, freshly ground coffee so simply & quickly. Yes, if you are looking for a great, easy to use machine with minimal effort, you will enjoy using this machine.
