I have used this carry on piece for at least 10 long weekend trips. I like it mainly due to the dimensions and size. it is the largest one that I could find that I can still carry on and that is exactly what I needed as the extra space compared to one of my other carryons really helps out. Plus it is also expandable. This Shadow Trunk Spinner is already packed and ready to go to the beach. Such easy flowing wheels that allow you to turn at all different angles. Very easy to lift up and down handle. Great compartments inside for you to be able to pack everything you would ever need. I love the fact that there are different handles on different sides for ease of pick up when coming off of an airplane. The built in TSA Lock is very easy to set and unlock with very clear instructions. I love this light beige color to make it very easy to find and separate from all of the other luggage on the carrier. Very well thought out design for the traveler.

Really love this piece of luggage. first use was going to Florida used as a checked bag. Had lots of room and it had the ability to expand. the wheels helped it to move smoothly. I do love the two sides with one side having the zippered netting. I only wish it had 'compartments/netting' on the inside along the sides to put in the smaller things.When I arrived home, the luggage was no worse for wear. there were some small marks from handling, but I was looking for them, not scratches, more dirt marks.I love that this has a built in 'overweight' feature.

What a stunner! I’m obsessed with the color of this suitcase from Delsey. The shade plum is a nice purple shade with an almost silver frosty sheen to it. It’s hard to describe but so unique and lovely in person. Coupled with the gold accents on the handle, zipper pulls, and wheels, this is a bag that stands out…which is always helpful when at the airport! As far as construction goes, this is great. I honestly can’t believe how lightweight it is while still feeling really sturdy and well-made. The wheels glide effortlessly in all directions, and I appreciate that they’re double walled for added durability. Love this piece, my new favorite! Tied a colorful scarf to the handle, traveled to Germany and France preformed great. Solid and tight, glides like it’s on ice. Extending and lowering the handle super smooth every time. No issues through security and stored perfectly in overhead bin. My experience with Delsey products has been fantastic for many years. This purchase was a great, new addition to my collection. Sidebar…the compliments received while traveling were nice too. Buy the piece and go have fun!
Durability.... I been using Delsey luggage for a long time, maybe over 10 yrs now. I been buying this luggage despite the price because I know how good is the quality and durability. But this time I may rethink it. I bought 2 of this Shadow 5.0 hardside one is the 28" check-in spinner and the other one is this 24". I do love the 28" one that is why I bought the smaller version of it and matched despite of having it all scratched the first use. I was holding on to its durability and quality. This smaller one crashed my hope, after 1st use the wheel was broken, I still think its fixable maybe buy a replacement wheel for it, but then during my return flight the poor thing will need replacement bad. Was looking at another brand's 25 inch suitcase but seemed too big. Found this 24 inch Delsey hardside with expansion - just the size I was looking for in between large carry-on and 25/27 inch size. Tag says holds up to 70 L. Can zip out inside fabric for washing as needed. Like the side handle feature that lights up if bag weighs more than 50 lbs. Bag weighs 8.6 lbs - lighter than most 25 inch cases. Dual layer zipper allegedly more theft-proof. TSA lock on case. Like the muted green color, will stand out amongst the sea of black suitcases. Seems sturdy, wheels glide smoothly. Good buy on sale - will find out how it holds up on my next trip!
I'm so excited to have a bag that doesn't get crushed my my husband's when he inevitably throws his bag on top of mine. This suitcase is solid, sturdy and feels high quality. The inside has a lot of room for clothes and the hard shell protects everything inside from getting squished. The wheels are sufficient to roll over dips in the sidewalk without tipping. I can lock it, too, which is great for traveling by bus or anywhere where my bag will be out of my sight. The handle collapses to take up minimal room when not in use. I'm really happy with the quality and storage capacity.
There's so many cool details to this luggage I can't even begin to pick a favorite. The handle and zippers are a beautiful rose gold.The handle is easily closed away during travel. The zippers actually pull up to the top of the bag and lock into the bag using a pre set code. Also the handle on the side has an indication light to let you know if your weight is up to TSA standards. That's amazing!! The inside of the luggage can be removed and easily washed. I'm a big fan of this suitcase and love the fat sizing of it as well.
