Deluxe Shower Squeegee (Chrome)

This product is great however the suction cup will not adhere to textured tiles. See picture attached - the suction cup will not adhere to the grey tiles, only the white.Since being affixed to the white tiles, it has fallen off maybe twice in 6 months. The squeegee itself is still working perfectly after the 6 months. It's a very good quality product.

Deluxe Squeegee

Squeegee great. Chrome suction hook useless, does not stick to the shower wall. Makes the whole idea dysfunctional. Cost way too expensive for just a squeegee. I would send it back but that makes the purchase even more expensive.

Form AND Function!

Purchased one a few weeks ago for our newly remodeled shower enclosure, and I love it. I have placed the squeegee hanger on the inside of the glass shower, behind where the towel rod attached on the outside. It stays in place, and is pretty much invisible when I have our bathmat hanging there. The squeegee SQUEEKS which is a little irritating, but oh well, it works great.! Just ordering another one for our guest bathroom, I had a more flexible one in the past, and it was worthless. . I purchased this squeegee for the glass, not my tiled shower walls.

Great squeegee!

I bought this squeegee as part of an experiment. I also bought a cheaper one at the same time. This squeegee is great. It does not leave marks, or missed spots, in its path. Another good thing about it is that the rubber blade is reversible. When it gets worn on one side you can slide it out and use the other side. I have bought a couple more for the other showers in the house.

Happy Life

Too brass.. I wanted the gold one, Bunnings guy told me to paint it gold, I asked him where the liquid gold aisle was. He said, your an idiot. I was kinda hurt but I decied to melt my wifes gold earings and tried ifuse into the metal, it sort of worked. She's going to be stoked with the golden shafted squeegee. Happy wife, happy life I say. Happy days, thumbs up!

Looks classy

Does the job, but the rubber strip is not as thick as the OXO brand I have even though this one is a little wider. This one is prettier & came in chrome finish so that is why I got it after remodeling our master bath. It rattles when you use it due to the 2-piece construction, so gives the impression it is not as sturdy. It is also pretty heavyweight so be sure you have good suction for the hanger. I am a little worried it will crack my new tile if it falls, so I check the suction of the hanger often. If finish does not matter to you, I think the OXO brand is better & cheaper.

No water spots!

We moved into a new home with a glass walk in shower. Neighbors told me they squeegee their shower doors to avoid water marks from the hard water in our neighborhood. I dreaded doing this because I envisioned using an ugly squeegee fit for a car windshield. Low and behold, I'm walking through Bed Bath & Beyond and I see this pretty chrome squeegee with a suction cup hanger! I hung it on the shower wall and we use it every day. It's pretty and functional. Another great find at Bed, Bath & Beyond!!

Squeegee left me disappointed

Do not waste your money on this shower squeegee! It looks great, but is way too heavy to use on a glass shower door. It's unbalanced, which makes it clumsy to use. I only rated it one star because it has a nice hangar! The overall size is too small and because of the heaviness of the handle it is awkward to use. My husband told me to throw it in the garbage, which is where it ended up. Look elsewhere for a squeegee that is lightweight and easier to handle.

Sturdy but not efficient

It looks really nice and the suction hook is really nice. I'm using it, but it's not efficient. The rubber blade on it should be a little longer (stick out a little longer from the base). If your hand is not at the correct angle, which is hard to do when you are scraping from top to bottom of a glass door, it 'stutters' against the surface not properly wiping the water away. If the rubber blade were a little longer it could 'bend' with your wrist angle in the 'swipe' and then catch all the surface properly.

There is much to like about this squeegee--the look, the size, the heft, the materials. I have been using it in a large shower with two glass walls, two marble walls, and a marble floor, in an area with extremely hard water, and it has been ideal. I mounted the suction cup hanger, which is really nice looking with its metallic medallion, low on the enclosure so it wouldn't fall far when it let go, to avoid chipping the marble, but it never let go in two years!When the two screws started backing out. I thought, "How nice! It must mean the rubber blade is replaceable." It is starting to split a bit.But the screws don't seem to be threaded into anything, or whatever they were threaded into has stripped or disappeared.
