Average bat. You get what you pay for. Good weight. Handle is good size for hands. Unfortunately, not enough pop or ball speed off the bat compared to more expensive bats from Miken.

My rec league slow pitch coed softball team has been playing together for 8+ years and we run the spectrum of skill levels; everyone on the team loves this bat! Well enough balanced for everyone and just enough end-weighted for our power hitters.

Cool grip but really loud on contact. Not a lot of pop either. Nice team bat not bad for the money.
Bought this bat because even though it was on the cheap end at $109, I figured that being a Demarini that it would be a decent bat and I only play a few tournaments a year now. I was wrong. Never could find the sweet spot with it, and the 5 teammates that tried it hated it as much as I did. It was like hitting with one of the cheap aluminum bats from Walmart. The bat was used for one practice and Academy will not allow it to be returned after just one day of owning it. Not even for credit towards another bat. I’ll never buy another bat from Academy. Save your money and stay away from the Uprising. Demarini should be ashamed.
Got for wife for Christmas. She loves it.
