I live in Northern Arizona. The deer are thicker than Californians here. Totaled a car driving to work at zero dark thirty a few years ago. After watching the Denali video on the different lights, I decided to go with four D3s instead of a pair of D7s. The distance you get with the D3 spots is impressive. Running 2 hybrid and 2 spots. This setup saved me hitting a deer this morning. My car would have been done for if not for these lights. I would like to thank Brendan and the entire Denali team for getting my 1290 Adventure diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner. The quality of products and customer service in this company is refreshing, they care. I don't want to end this review with the cheesy "I'm going to buy more xxxxx" but the factory fog's on my 17 WRX are ... MoreI live in Northern Arizona. The deer are thicker than Californians here. Rather disappointed, so coming from a set of d4s, I knew the set of d3s would be close. Well, the lights of course are well built. They come with clear, not yellow installed. Running the fogs at 100% is actually rather dissapointing. Its very flat, cutoff is great, I just at 100% want punch! It just dont deliver. I would not buy again, nor recommend for the price that these run. Maybe on a car would be ok. But motorcycle. Just not feeling them. The d3 spots are great because my ktm low beam is very cut off, so they fill in at 10-20% power enough to be very useful without blinding people. I recommend those. Want both. Just get the d4s run all flood. Aim low.

All the products in the video have been absolutely superb in performance. The installation was very easy and straight forward. The intensity of the lights is so bright that I only have the power output to 50%. I want to be seen but also not aggravate on coming motorist. What I could not show in order to keep the video short is how I ran the wires. The extension wires that come with the kit are approximately 59 inches long and I would have to route four of those extensions inside the clutch side panel that runs along the crash bars. Because the battery is in the front of the bike I was able to run the light cords along the sides of the radiator rather than dealing with the side panel. This was much easier and it also allows me to have quicker access to all the wiring ... MoreAll the products in the video have been absolutely superb in performance. As detailed in the video I wrapped all the wires with 3/8 inch braided loom for added protection which also adds a clean look to the install in my opinion. If you watch the install video of the Pan American on the Denali site you can see how they did it and a demo of how the lights works. I hope this helps with your decision making. “Fortis Fortuna Juvat”

D3 Light Pods Have not wired them in yet. Went to mount them, using Denali light clamps. Bolts that came with the D3 pods are too long, M8-20. The nuts that come with these are the Acorn style with a plastic snap on cover.M8-20 with the acorn nut tight, has about a 1/4 inch of loose thread left between the bottom of the nut and the Denali light mount bar. I like the acorn nut look, did not want to use an open M8 nut, so ordered up some M8-16 stainless bolts, waiting on those to mount the light pods
