Denali - DM LED Light Pod - Datadim Technology - Single

I purchased the DM lights to hopefully make my 22 fjr1300 more visible to other traffic. I purchased the yellow lens. Since the motorcycle came with all LED lights it already has amazing lights. I was not expecting much improvement in that compartment. After I added these lights I went for my first night ride and then after 20 miles I cut them off. I could not see where I was going. The lights are great. I may never know if they are helping me be seen.

Excellent, well~built lights, mounted on Heed lower crash bars. Super bright, with yellow spot on port and yellow flood on starboard (curbside). Programmed with Hex EZ can (or the excellent Denali system), the three tap of the flash to pass button sends an attention-getting double yellow strobe. Very effective for the elderly drivers whose necks don’t turn far enough to see you coming!These lights are a highly effective and protective advantage in a world of inattentive drivers .2017 R1200RT

Picture is Misleading

These lights are great. They are very bright and heavy duty. However, the picture is misleading. It shows the lights with mounting hardware. These lights only come with the light, no mounting hardware. You have to go to Twisted Throttle to get the mounting hardware. I was told I had to buy the lighting kit to install the lights. My bike was already wired for axillary lighting and I did not want to spend more money for a wiring that was already paid for and installed. If you already have lights installed and you just want to replace the lights I would just get them from Twisted Throttle and get the $27.00 mounting hardware. I have a Triumph Street Twin and these lights look OEM and match the Triumph build quality.INSTALLATION SUGGESTIONS:-It’s worth spending the extra 5 minutes to completely remove the gas tank so the Denali wiring harness can be easily routed.-The Denali wiring harness has two long legs that you route towards headlight from the battery under the seat.-I found that running a leg on each side of the frame was the best solution. I also opened the black stock wiring harness case on the left side to tuck that Denali lead into. It matched the Denali website.

Very Bright and light weight.

Denali DM 2.0 LED lights are bright and easy to install. They have a sharp compact design. You can certainly be seen. I do wonder however, if these type of lights, with no apparent directional beam control hurt the vision of oncoming drivers?The mounting flanges are somewhat primitive in design, though on initial install seem sturdy. I do wonder about long term stability. One fixture had a loose fixture flange that cause me to over tighten the height angle adjustment bolt, trying to remove wiggle in the fixture. Both pods had two wholes which appeared to have threaded bottoms. Were these fixtures missing lens cover bolts?
