This was bought to replace an old hifi that could not receive DAB+. It is superb mini hifi that abounds with modern features that will make it future proof for some time to come. It excellent value for money and the sound quality must be good enough for even the most discerning ears.

I ordered this early in May, it has just been delivered as it was out of stock. First impressions are good, I have it playing through B&W speakers and the sound quality is excellent. CD playback is good but I cannot get a signal on either DAB or FM (I had the same problem with previous RCD M40 and M41, so maybe my house is built the wrong way round?)Internet radio is fine on HEOS and Tidal is excellent. I have not yet tried Multiroom capabilities. It’s early days, and I need to experiment with some facilities. Initial impressions are: great sound, solid, sophisticated control interface, good looking

Ordered over the phone Friday delivered Saturday. Small problem with the earphones. However, replaced by the Windsor and Eton branch Tuesday. Superb service, many thanks.Denon Rcd-N12 unit is excellent. HEOS app a little clunky but will get used to it.

I have only had this box of tricks for a couple of days and I am still discovering how versatile it is I purchased this unit to replace a Marantz melody X who’s transport mechanism had given up the ghost!! I was very happy with the Marantz sound through my Wharfedale diamond 12.3 floorstanders but wanted a more reliable cd system and I have previously had no problems with denon d40 The ceol unit has equally outstanding sound so I am more than happy with it The only disappoint mention was not being able to use my banana plugs and had to strip back to bare wires Very happy with Richer sounds sales
Device is great but setup instructions were lacking in some areas. For example is wireless setup did not work for me and I had to connect an Ethernet cable to get it to kick into life. Also the DAB radio station auto-tune did not work . Online I found a solution where you had to do a manual tune first, and after that the auto-tune worked! It would have been nice to have a note with the box saying this.
I bought the new Denon N12 because I needed a new Dab, streaming, radio and cd device in the bedroom. I had a previous N11 downstairs and it was such a great music system. The N12 has improved frequency response. The sound is much clearer than my previous Onkyo CD radio, so much so I could hear that my older bookshelf speakers needed a subwoofer! (got the Minx 201) The internet radio control is a little fiddly but the sound is 320 Kbs so twice as good as Dab. The dab is a little easier to change channel, and still sounds good despite dab radio 6 Music being 180Kbs. the cd player is really good and very discreetly housed in a front panel. The top mounted controls are easy to use as is the fully featured and logical remote control. The white finish is a first for me ... I recently bought this Denon mini-system from Richer Sounds after following their excellent phone advice for a value-for-money product in every respect providing comprehensive cd, usb, DAB/DAB+ and phono connection in a quality product.
Needed a decent reasonably priced hi fi system,and David at Richer Sounds Glasgow helped by suggesting a couple of products. I plumped for Denon,Q Acoustic speakers and Dali stands. I measured the cable lengths and David fitted banana plugs and sent them over. I had a few setting up problems (down to me/my lack of knowledge) but the team in Glasgow talked me through it and I'm loving the system. All in all a daunting project was made easy by Richer Sounds...many thanks.
I already had the N 11 for my sunroom.. I’m still working out the N12 .. is it worth the extra.. not sure yet .. HEOS speakers I don’t have so its full capability is not available.The sound, however, is awesome .. I have it connected to Mission MK3 MII .. they need driven .. and when you do .. wow .. neighbours beware !!!!!!
I purchased the Denon Ceol RCD N12DAB,I had been having problems with streaming Gapless from my media server on my current Media Players and wanted to find out if the Denon Ceol would playback gapless,I was allowed to try a similar product using the same app Heos, at first it would not work but with support from Stuart from the Middlesbrough store we found out how to get it working perfectly.
