This is an absolutely beautifully displayed, an amazing sound and toned subwoofer. I use mine with the rest of my Denon home system. You will have to use the HEOS app to get the full functionality of this amazing subwoofer. I do think they are over priced, so look for them on sale, but they will be worth every penny.

Purchased in March 2022 two days after I saw the Denon release email. Wanted a sub to mate up with my two Home 150s to add that deep bass. Frankly I was impressed with the bass in the 150s by themselves for such a small package when I got them in Dec 2021 but it can’t compete with adding a sub.The Home sub mates flawlessly with the 150s. It self optimizes the low pass filter to match up or you can set it manually. You can separately set the base level to set it’s prominence.Only hiccup in the setup was after following the directions to a tee, no sound came out of the sub when the setup was done. Decent bass that pairs well with a denon home 550 soundbar. Adds the low end that the sound bar on its own lacks. Its not a powerhouse like a sub from klipsch or other speaker manufacturers. But again works great w the denon home series products. Works great in a meduim sized room
I recently purchased the Denon Home Subwoofer to pair with my Denon 550 soundbar. Both are very good additions to my UST laser TV.Unfortunately, if you are using a HDMI eARC connection to the soundbar you can't wirelessly connect the subwoofer via HEOS. This was only discovered after about an hour on the phone with Denon technical support.Initially, the 550 soundbar would regularly lose sound (before adding a subwoofer). Not sure why but that issue seems to stopped once I connected the subwoofer.Denon should do a better job in disclosing the limitations of HEOS.
You really are not spoiled for choice with wireless subwoofers to use with the HEOS Home speakers. Likewise, a single 8" driver for this price didn't feel like a great value proposition.When I finally bit the bullet and bought this subwoofer, I as really impressed. It isn't a monster, but it is the right amount of bass output for use with the 550 soundbar, has great functionality, and is perhaps one of the most attractive subwoofers out there if you havea spouse who isn't crazy about big speaker-looking stuff in the living room.

Sometimes itresumes, other times it does not.(3) The subwoofer has on many occasions also gotten out ofsync with the beat of the playing song.It is running the latest firmware from Denon.I have it paired with my existing Denon Home 250 speakers also running the latest firmware. The more successful solution has been to instead reselect the playlist/song and have it replace the active playlist/song.It seems to happen most when I interact with the playing music but has on occasion happened when I'm just playing a song either in a playlist or a loop.This includes streaming sources (Amazon etc) AND local (i.e. on a USB thumb drive connected to one of my Home 250 speakers that's in the pair).This is either a hardware defect or an issue that will beresolved in a future firmware. I've not found anyone on Reddit complaining about this so perhaps it's a defect or maybe specific to running the sub in a stereo pair. My stereo pair is a set of 250s also running latest firmware. While it may be resolved in a future firmware, given I use this to enjoy music I would rather not beta test this only to have the problem persist for years. After much thinking I have instead decided to return and if in the future Denon resolve this I may consider re-purchase.
Purchased this subwoofer along with two 350's to be used as a stereo setup. No regrets whatsoever. Everything synched together as they should. Sound is excellent. Very pleased with the purchase and B&H is the best to purchase through as always.
Would not update firmware. Kept failing to install. Now it just sits flashing blue standby light. Unplugged for a day, same flashing light when plugged in. Tried to reset many times tried alternate setup nothing works. Tried to contact but no support on weekends. Maybe Monday while I am at work they will call.
Thank you Deno, my wireless home theater is now complete! Love the adjustments I can make to get it to my liking. Both music and movies are superb with this system for a wireless system. More fidelity/music definition in this system than the competition.
