Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream 295 ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I have found my holy grail! My thin, bleached, dry hair, was left feeling so hydrated, silky and shiny. Usually moisturizing shampoo and conditioners weigh my hair down but this is the first range I have found that has left my hair looking so healthy, moisturized and full of volume. My hair has never looked or felt healthier and contains no nasties or silicones. Love it, the best on the market!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! Absolutely love the smell!

This is a fabulous product! I have very dry, flaky skin. I am constantly needing to hydrate my skin, trying to combat the aging process with the help of many products I have purchased from Lovely Skin! This is a new product to me & I love it! I use it right after getting out of the shower on my hands and arms and it smells terrific and is hydrating as hoped! If it were cheaper, I would use it all over! It isn't made for that as it is an expense ingredient product so I will be continuing to purchase this good find of a product! Thanks, Lovely Skin! Your sale made it possible to buy it in a larger size and my hands and arms feel so good now! I'm a fan of both you & this product!

Doesn't moisturize at all!

I have purchased Body Hydrating Cream about a year ago, so I had plenty of time to test it. Unfortunately, I was not happy with it. After applying it, I did not feel that my skin was moisturized at all!! I felt absolutely no effects of this product besides a good smell. It was a great disappointment for me because I was in love with their old version of this product that I used years ago; therefore, I expected the same quality. I hate leaving a negative review since I love Dermalogica products. However, it is my honest feedback.

Please bring back the original Body Hydrating Cream in the tall 16 oz white pump top bottle

This new formulation of the Body Hydrating Cream (containing green tea and citrus) is terrible. It is too thick to be applied evenly and smoothly and feels heavy. By contrast, the original Body Hydrating Cream was the best after shower body lotion on the market. It was the perfect thickness for an even application/ It felt great with just a hint of fresh fragrance while being applied that quickly faded so as not to compete with your own perfume. Even worse, this heavy new formula does not moisturizer as well as the original. It does not feel as good as the original. The fragrance while mild, is distinctive enough to compete with your own perfume. The original was voted one of the most body lotions on the market. Why change a winner?

After finally using up my ample supply of my fantastic body cream I bought the new 10oz. I was shocked! I could live with the price per ounce pricing increase as that is just a sign of the times, but it is not only not great anymore, it is a total waste of money. The texture is different and the scent is overpowering. There is no excuse, company buyout, new management or whatever, to destroy such a wonderful product.
