Coming from someone who’s used probably a hundred different exfoliation products in my lifetime, Dermalogica’s Microfoliant reduces the appearance of blackheads like no other I’ve ever tried. I use this probably once a week when I notice that my blackheads are appearing again, and it works great. Though, make sure to GENTLY use this scrub according to its directions because there is a chance for over-exfoliation. For sensitive skin people, make sure to allow the paste to thin and sud so it’s not too abrasive, the Salicylic Acid does the job for you. Another plus is that this powder lasts FOREVER!! I’ve only bought two of the small sizes over a year. Lots of thanks to the creators of this product!

If you suffer with sensitive and allergic skin- avoid dermalogica as a whole. Or at least their foliants. They put corn starch in nearly every foliant. Corn (Zein) is one of the main 4 food allergens and can cause rashes, hives, inflammation, neurological delays.I have a sensitivity to corn. I am an esthetician, and new to dermalogica. I put milkfoliant all over my hands and broke out in hard, dry, inflamed skin. I actually had a dream where I discovered corn starch in their stuff, so I googled it and sure enough, corn starch in everything.

This product is unlike anything I’ve tried before. I was expecting a paste and was surprised when power came out of the bottle. When mixed together with the water on my wet hands, the powder lathered up nicely into an exfoliant. It didn’t feel as harsh as facial scrubs I have used in the past, and after using my skin felt soft and cleansed. I did not feel any tightness or unpleasant feelings after using this product. The powder formation makes the product stay fresh for longer and last longer since you only need to use a small amount. So impressed with this exfoliant!

Although I am not new to the exfoliant or cleansing rodeo; I have never used a powder in the pat so this was my first experience but I figured you can't lose with a trusted brand. Well, Holy smokes my life has changed! First of all, a little goes a long way so indeed follow direction about the amount size to use. It feels invigorating on the face but not harsh and is very spa like. Washed away smoothly and I INSTANTLY noticed a deel clean and glow! I not only felt "clean" and refreshed but noticed a visual difference even on the first use! That's seriously unheard of. Let's be real: most products don't actually do much or only after prolonged use. This is absolutely amazing. I am so impressed and in love!
If you like an exfoliating product that really works but can be a bit gritty thus product will auitesuite you. I'm not one to have sensitive skin, but afteafter using this product my skin felt raw.I belive that this is because of my very frequent exfoliation and use of SA products. I am pretty sure that my skin just didn't need it.In any event, my skin was very raw after and I gave the rest of my sample away to a friend.I woukwould recommend this product for someone who has skin that has not been regularly exfoliated. I would not recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin.My skin had a great shine and it worked to remove the dull dead top layer of skin so it absolutely works and does what it says.

I absolutely love my Dermalogica. My skin has never looked better. I am 62 years old and have had a hard time trying to find a product for a skincare regiman since I've gotten older. A lot of money wasted. I've been using Dermalogica for about 6 weeks and my complexion looks healthier and better now than it did in my 30's. My skin is smoother, brighter, and my pores appear smaller. I've finally found something to actually balance my skin out. I'm thrilled to know I wont be wasting any more money on products that will end up in the trashcan. Dermalogica is my forever skincare regimen.
I can’t express how grateful I am for this product! I have a terrible history of acne breakouts and I’ve been on medication and prescribed topicals for it. Considering how expensive this product is, I was hesitant but I hit my desperate mark and went for it. I DO NOT REGRET IT! It’s beyond gentle, I wish I had a before and after picture but it has helped my skin tremendously! My boyfriend saw the difference immediately! Don’t get me wrong, I still get flare ups every now and then but lately they haven’t been painful and large. Be patient and stay consistent with your routine and you will see results like me.
Alright, so I have been using this product for about 3 years now. I feel like I HAD to write a review. This product is BY FAR the best. I do have acne prone skin, combination oily/dry in some areas, sensitive skin with very high skin cell turnover. This exfoliator is amazing to use on days when I have a lot of dead skin cells from using my retinol (note-I do not use this if I have a lot of active breakouts) and it removes just enough of the old skin for my new healthy skin to come through without getting clogged up and congested. I've noticed brighter skin, shiny skin, and just overall radiant skin. LOVE LOVE LOVE <3
This product was recommended to me by a skin consultant for every day use. I have used it daily for less than a week, and now have spider veins on both cheeks, and my nose. I woke up this morning, and my nose looks like Rudolph. This can happen to anyone, but is most likely to happen to people using mechanical exfoliation (not chemical), with fair skin and Celtic ancestry. I only wish I had known what it was when my first cheek showed red capillaries, so I could've avoided further damage. This is permanent damage that can only be repaired by a medical procedure. I used the product exactly as directed, and there is no warning on the product about this.
