But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! Calming and gentle on skin

I’ve heard such positive reviews about Dermalogica and the “Discover Healthy Skin Kit” did not disappoint! I try to find the best dupes or cheap products that can be alike name brand ones, so I was hesitant to buy. Luckily, I received this free Healthy Skin Kit and was able to get all these products!PROS: super calming on skin and the precleanse is amazing as a makeup remover! All are gentle and feel very light after applying. SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CALMING, GENTLE. Ingredients are listed and definitely better than any drug store product.**I would say a go to for normal to combo skin types!CONS: Pricey compared to other alternatives. Precleanse is a calming way to get off makeup, but the oils caused some acne after long term use.*PRICEY, too light not enough hydration, oil causing breakouts.All in all... I would say the Heathy skin care kit is worth purchasing if you have normal to combo skin but I would not recommend for those with super dry skin. I use retinol and need something that immediately hydrates as my face hurts from peeling and acne, so this was no where near strong enough for my skin however did feel calm on application! Cleanser is probably my favorite part as it really cleans face efficiently and quickly.

Discover Healthy Skin kit

Love all four products in this kit. My daughter has used Dermalogica products for more than ten years and loves it too.I am mid 50s with reasonably good skin. I've had oily skin all my life and now in peri menopause it has dried out enough to become normal/combination. The Pre Cleanse, Daily Microfoliant and Special Cleansing Gel are fantastic, removing all traces of makeup and grime from the day, leaving my skin feeling fresh and sooo clean. The Daily Microfoliant is a favourite product that I don't ever want to be without. The other product in the kit is the Skin Smoothing Cream, which I also use day and night, and it's a non greasy cream which really does smooth.Will definitely purchase these products again.

Fair results from healthy skin start kit

Having suffered with acne prone skin most of my adult life this kit was the perfect way to try out the products before spending lots of money on something that might not work. The pre-cleanse is fairly lightweight but felt like it took off all the make-up & daily grime quite well. Followed by the exfoliant my skin felt super smooth! The moisturiser felt light and non- greasy and sunk into the skin well, however it did have a slightly unpleasant smell , a bit like plastic. Not sure if that's normal? The exfoliant says its gentle enough to use daily, however I would start out maybe using once or twice a week. All in all I was pleased with the products and easy routine. If my skin still struggles on having another try, I will look at the Dermalogica products for sensitive skin.

Invest in your skin routine - it is worth it

I decided to treat myself to a better skin routine. I was using only 2 steps for my AM and PM skin care - face wash and Aveeno body moisturizer. I tried Dermalogica and although I am adding about 3 more steps (precleanse, face wash, exfoliator, Estee Lauder Serum, Estee Lauder Moisturizer) it is not adding much time to my routine. The steps bleed effortlessly into one another. I only dry my face once during this process after the exfoliator step where I then apply serum and moisturizer. It feels like a mini spa experience twice a day! My skin has large pores and is prone to breakout but I feel the product is really keeping my skin clear and moisturized. It's my first time trying Dermalogica skin care products. I've tried many other skin care brands before, but this one definitely stood out. I've been using this kit for over a month now, and I am pleasantly surprised with the results! I have very sensitive skin, so it's very hard for me to find the right skin care. Dermalogica products didn't irritate or worsened my skin in any way. Out of the 5 items from the kit, my favorites are the daily Microfoliant and Skin Smoothing Cream. I use this before applying my Tri-Luma cream. I swear all my coworkers are like Cin your skin is glowing and all they can really see if my forehead. Do you have botox? What are you doing to your skin? It looks GREAT! Made my skin worse

I was trying to find a better skincare routine and I really liked this kit the first few times I used it because of how smooth it made my skin. I purchased full size bottles and have now stopped using everything except the face wash. I only had blackheads on my nose prior to use but these products can't possibly be noncomedogenic because I ended up with small blackheads all over my face - forehead, cheeks, under my chin. I think the main issue was the oil cleanse portion. I followed the directions, tried other companies' oil cleanse directions but ultimately the product made my skin much worse. I also think the microfoliant should not be used daily. It strips your skin far too much. When I first started using it I thought I had found my new system. I am 38 with combo, very sensitive skin. With any new skin care switch I always give my skin some time to adjust and account for breakouts since your skin can often need a little time. I also rebought some of the items in a smaller size. My face has small red bumps/pimples that I've never had before and they won't go away. It's from one temple across my forehead to the other and down to my jawline on one side. I normally get one or two hormonal acne breakouts on my chin but it's now covered and they are painful. The adjustment phase should be over by now, and shouldn't have ever been that bad to begin with, and I just can't do it.
