Dermalogica - Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream - 15ml

I was hesitant to buy this because all the reviews are incentivized but I generally love Dermalogica so I decided to try it. I didn’t notice “peppermint” in the ingredients list. If I had, I definitely wouldn’t have bought it. Peppermint is what’s put in most limp plumpers to cause the plumping reaction. Why they decided to put that near eyes is beyond me because it’s irritating and causes swelling. Which is exactly what it did to mine. I used it once and my eyes instantly began watering and my lids swelled. I rushed to wash it off but the skin around my eyes is now red and raw and the swelling took quite awhile to dissipate. This is way too expensive for what it is and menthol/peppermint should definitely not be used on sensitive skin. An eye cream that truly works!!

I'm a huge Dermalogica fan, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this eye cream. I absolutely love it because it actually gives me real results. After only a couple of days of using it night and day, I noticed a difference under my eyes. The texture is creamy and lightweight, and feels so smooth and gentle when I apply it. It has no fragrance and doesn't cause any irritation at all. I have noticed my under eyes look much brighter and it has helped a lot with my dark circles. Also they aren't as puffy and the skin is much firmer and tighter. I have very small fine lines on the corners of my eyes, and it has definitely helped reduce the appearance of them. Great eye cream

I received the "Phyto- Nature Lifting Eye Cream" complimentary from Dermalogica in exchange for a review.This is a cream that moisturizes and helps lift the eyes to reduce signs of aging.The cream contains Quinoa seed extract, CoQ10, and peptides to visibly tighten, and provide antioxidants to the skin for a more lifted look.It's fragrance free, and I use it twice daily for best results.I use half a pump and warm it up between my fingers before patting it to the skin around my eyes. The cream doesn't drift from where I place it, so I think it would work great under makeup. Hydrating

I love that this eye cream comes in an airtight pump. It’s easy to control the amount that comes out, and you don’t need to use a lot to cover the entire eye area. Just one tiny pump per eye and gently pat to blend. The cream is very hydrating and layers well under my eye makeup with no pilling. I used this cream daily for two weeks, and as far as as firming and lifting, unfortunately I did not notice a difference at all. I am in my mid 40s and have crepiness, droopiness, and puffiness. Although this cream does feel moisturizing and nice while applied, it hasn’t performed any miracles. I will continue using this eye cream until the tube runs out. Miracle Worker For Aging Eyes

This product was gifted by Dermalogica. I'm in my late 30s and my most pressing eye concerns are fine lines around the outer corner and under eyes, texture on my lids and crepe-y skin. Number one, I love that it has a pump. It helps keep it sanitary and the product more fresh. Main thing is though, this stuff works! I've used this for only about two weeks but I have seen a big difference in the texture issues I had on the inner lid plus the crepe-y skin of my under eyes is drastically better. The fine lines around my outer corners have faded and my eyes look well rested. The texture is a dream. It's very thick but has a silky slip to it that glides on easily, doesn't tug and makes for a great base for concealer too. I cannot recommend this highly enough, just get it!

Moist, but little results

I DO like this. It will never be my favorite like Intensive Eye Repair was (for half the price). I have somewhat hooded eyelids. This eye cream doesn't lift them more, but it seems to make the crepiness above my upper lids look less. Also seems to lessen the crow's feet that the Intensive Eye Repair kept at bay for probably over 25 years. I like the way you can choose how much product you want to pump out of the container. That is very user-friendly. I don't need a lot of this product for both eyes, and it is great I can just get the amount needed by a small press of the pump. I'm only hoping that there won't be left over product when I get to the bottom, and the pump won't bring any more up. I’ve been using it everyday ,day and night . The first time I used it I could immediately tell a difference. My under eyes appear hydrated /moisturized and smooth ! Nice but pricey

First and foremost, I'll start by saying I have mixed feelings on this. Being in my forties, an eye cream is imperative. I need something that's going to hydrate, plump, brighten, and address signs of aging. With that being said, I also need something that is affordable that I can replace when the time comes without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, although this one does work decent, it is not something that I would be able replace as needed- so it's a good thing only a tiny bit is needed and this bottle will last for a little while. Considering this is vegan, it is made with a lot of different natural oils and extracts, one of which being peppermint. If you have sensitive skin or eye area, proceed with caution. I personally have have no adverse reactions, but I feel like it's worth noting.Overall, I do really enjoy this, but sadly it will not be able to repurchase once this is gone. There are many dermatological products that I really enjoyed. This one is just not one of them. I found that this was much too heavy for my underwear and I do tend to have dryer under eyes, which I found to be interesting. I have fine lines and I have a lot of lids sagging, so I was excited to review this product. However, I didn’t notice any instant lifting like the box claimed and I also didn’t notice much lifting after seven days like the box claimed I feel like this product just is not meant for me as even when I use the recommended amount there was a ton of pilling happening underneath my eye, and it did not wear wear well underneath my make up I work in sealer almost every single day, even when I did Wear make up I still noticed the pilling and it would turn ... MoreThere are many dermatological products that I really enjoyed. I will continue for the 8 weeks suggested to see a significant lifting result.Pros: It feels luxurious, and does not irritate or migrate at all. This is saying something for such a thick emollient cream. It feels soothing and hydrating, which may translate to a firmer appearance.Cons: It is thick and the idea that it requires warming up between your fingers is time consuming and not an efficient use of a relatively costly cream; are you supposed to then somehow retrieve the excess that is on 2 fingers to try to apply? It's a little sticky. I do not have the real estate on my upper eyelids to need a pea sized amount.
