For me, the wow factor of this product lies in it's cosmetic elegance. Unsurprisingly for Dermalogica, the texture is gorgeous! It's somehow both lightweight and yet nourishing. I can see all skin types, but especially mature skin appreciating this product.In terms of claims, this says it can immediately plump skin. Indeed it does, given its rich blend of humectants, which push water into the skin cells and thus reduce the appearance of lines almost immediately. I'm unsure on the 4 years claim. Definitely did not make me four years younger

I bought this as soon as it came out and was excited to try it. I didn’t love it right away and was a little disappointed. In fact, it took me about three weeks of use to sorta like it….but not enough to buy it again, especially for that price. It is very light, which is nice for daytime wear. However, it left my face super shiny and kinda sticky. I don’t wear makeup regularly, but I’d have to matte it out with powder which was outside of my normal routine. I would notice pilling midday, so I would not wear it under foundation and powder. I did not notice any change in fine lines, and my skin actually felt a little rough after a few weeks of religious use, along with my other dermalogica products, so I don’t think it agreed with my skin.
