Dermalogica PowerBright Dark Spot Serum - 30 ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! Dark Spots gone!

I been using this product for about 2 months now. I l purchased ot because I did a chemical peel on my face & I end up burning my skin. I end up with 2 big dark marks on my face I didn't know what to do. I ordered this product plus the face wash, the daily exfoliater, toner and also the moisturizer. I must say my dark spot are gone completely! The texture of my face is so smooth. I never had clear skin this product changed my life forever. It very expensive, but worth every dime. Just stay consistent with the product it work magic. Thank you so much for your product.

Doesn't working at all

I absolutely adore dermalogica and I am using lot of their products. Also I am struggling with not that pigmented, small spot above my lips (but I hate it cause it reminds me of mustache). I am constantly using my spf50 and I tried to get rid of it on so many ways. Finally I decided to pay this serum cause they told me it is best thing ever. After more than a month, I can't see anything! Absolutely nothing, I had better results with 18 dollars stick from pharmacy. I am really sad, disappointed and feeling bad about wasted money.

Game changer

I’ve contemplated for months wether or not I should purchase this, and let’s just say that I’m happy I did. It hasn’t been long since I’ve been using it and it has done wonders for my blemishes; both old and new! My skin is fairly light in complexion and very sensitive, making it easy for my dark spots to become visable when I find myself picking at my face. In a matter of weeks, it has already begun fading some of those dark areas. A little bit goes a longgggg way might I add! If you’re considering getting the dark spot serum, make the purchase! Totally worth it.

Holy grail and new go to!

I received my first facial recently and my aesthetician used the PowerBright line from Dermalogica on my face after I told her I wanted brighter, even skin tone. I didn’t purchase the product right away because I have extremely sensitive, finicky skin and wasn’t sure how my skin would potentially react. I woke up the day after in love but was trying not to get my hopes up as many other brands of skin care products have let me down. I patiently waited a week to see if my skin would flair up at all like it typically does when I try something new and it didn’t! I was thrilled! I went back to the spa and bought the travel size kit just to give the whole line a whirl. Within just a few days my skin was noticeably brighter! Since purchasing the trial size kit, I have since come back to Dermalogica’s website and bought the full size of each of those items in the package. I love all of them. I put it on once in the morning followed by the Pure Light serum and once in the evening with the Pure Night serum. I can wear it under makeup with no complaints (one of the major reasons I had never moisturize in the morning until now). It doesn’t allow my makeup to slide around or rub off easily. I never write product reviews (and certainly not ones this long) but I just help it, I love this stuff and tell everyone and their mom about it! Get it, you won’t regret it!

Minimal changes for high price

A lot of products take consistency and dedication, in which, I know I have done.I have extremely sensitive skin so my skin can't handle switching between products to products - I rode with this entire little bottle until the very last drop! With that being said, for the price of the bottle I just don't feel it's worth the price.I did see a difference, but it is EXTREMELY minimal.. I still have visible medium dark to noticeably dark spots on my face. The texture is watery, but gets tacky fast. It does smell good- almost like a citrusy scent.Anyone looking for a dramatic change, would highly just recommend seeing an esthetician for a monthly facial for repair. Don't waste your money trying to do the chemistry on your face with this product.

This was a disappointment!

I was looking for a Dermalogica product to clear my dark spots caused by blemishes. I've been consistently using this product for a month, and unfortunately it does not work for me. I have quite a number of Dermalogica products in my arsenal, and this is the one I was most looking forward to using. I'm not satisfied with the product and would not recommend it, as it costs too much with zero results. This was a disappointment.I will say, I prefer the Age Bright Clearing Serum and Spot Fader, and would highly recommend both of those products. They provide results and are worth the money.

Used it for 3 months and nothing. Developed craters on face after use

My skin care consists of all Dermalogica products, so you can imagine how excited I was when they came out with this dark spot remover. I started using it mid November 2021. It is now the beginning of April 2022 and I have seen no improvement. In fact, I have now developed craters on my face where I put the serum (where my hyperpigmentation is) and the close surrounding areas. After discovering these craters on my face, it prompt me to write this review. I am scared to use this product now, because I don’t want to create more craters on my face! I have NEVER had that happen to me prior to using this product.
