Deuter FUTURA PRO 42 EL has been developed for athletic hikers looking for a pack with superior comfort and maximum ventilation for multi-day hikes. The backpack provides increased performance thanks to the Deuter innovative Aircomfort carry system. At the heart of the Aircomfort system is its elastic spring steel frame. It is extremely durable, provides stable tension for the airy back mesh and creates the ventilation space between pack and the wearer ́s back for the moist, warm air to dissipate - thus, providing maximum ventilation. In addition, the Aircomfort system provides pivoting shoulder straps, mobile VariFlex hip fins, stabiliser straps, and chest straps to increase its comfort and to secure the fit. In order to comply with the highest technical requirements, Futura Pro 42 EL features front stash pocket, two stretch side pockets, and two spacious hip fin zip pockets. What ́s more, the items are effectively stored in a lid pocket, spacious main compartment and a separate bottom compartment. There is inside valuables pocket and elasticated inner compartment for storing wet/sweaty clothing etc. Moreover, the backpack has detachable rain cover, trekking pole attachment, loops for helmet holder and SOS-label. It is compatible with 3.0 litre drinking system. As for Deuter EL series, it has been made to fit taller people. The backpack extends by 6-9 cm. All other features remain the same as they are in the standard Futura Pro models.
