Devanti 58 L Sensor Bin - White

Loving my new sensor bin, it’s not only bigger, you’re not cleaning the top of the lid every time you put something in it. Delivery was quick & everything perfect. I’ve done a lot of shopping on My Deal & I couldn’t be happier. It’s convenient, great prices & if there is a problem it’s quickly resolved.

I love my new bin! Works wonderfully especially with the sensor and having full hands. Good price, postage was so fast and he bin is a really great size! The colour matches my kitchen well too so it doesn’t stand out.

Love this item. It is stylish, clean and efficient.YouNo more having to touch bin to open and deposit rubbish; just a hand wave over top and voila, open sesame and drop in the waste.Have been using it for a week now, and batteries still going strong.Really am quite impressed. Chose the larger size bin at 68l, this holds a lot of waste and I can see it also saves on the amount of garbage bags I use.Extremely happy with my purchase.

I was surprised at how tall it was. I thought being so thin it would have been smaller. My mistake though. Just didn't realise the height measurement. Decided to use it for glass as we haven't a bin and are taken to the tip when full. So will mean less trips to the tip as it holds alot of bottles. Very good product. May buy a smaller one later on.

Excellent, sensor is great

It’s huge, glad I went with this size over the next size up, this size is sufficient. Lid is plastic which I’d prefer was stainless steal but have used for 3 weeks now and pleased with it. Ease of use with dirty hands from cooking is excellent. The sensor encourages my children to use the bin! Hooray!

Great Purchase

No stupid metal lining that snags bin bags. Make sure you have 2xAA batteries for lid. Sensor is a bit sensitive and will put the lid up even if you're walking past. Great size and very happy with the purchase.

Not happy, it's now just a bin

For the first few days it worked well. I purchased for the 'no touch' lid. After this time the lid only opens a few inches (10cm), not fully as it did initially. I replaced my new batteries for more new batteries, and nothing changed. I sent a video to Kitchenwarehouse as requested, who sent it on to manufacturer. They can't see it's a problem. I responded that it worked fully when purchased in August and within days it didn't. It's now mid October and no response whatsoever.Just buy a bin with a insert you can wash. Not worth the reduced price as the main feature is not functioning after 4 days.

Plastic top part - buyers beware

Plastic cap (not just the lid, but the entire top part above the black waist line) is plastic, and cheap-looking plastic, so you can tell the two different materials from 3 meters away. The bin itself works well, sensor is sensitive, but the cap is a real let-down. Myer's description says the bin is made of stainless steel so you would think both the top and bottom parts are SS. Not the case.

Sleek design and works well.

Works well. Sleek design. Takes 4 batteries, so hopefully I won't need to change them for at least year - the lid is constantly being opened of course as you work in the kitchen. It only stays open for maybe 7 seconds so the odd time it closes as you are still emptying something into it, but you can easily just manually open it as you would with any other garbage lid and it stays open indefinitely. I actually much prefer it now to the previous one I had where I had a foot pedal to open the lid. Easy to clean the outside, too.

Sturdy and easy to use

My husband and I love our new rubbish bin. It is sturdy but attractive. The sensor lid works really well and can be switched off - useful for when my toddler grandsons visit! It fits well at the end of our island bench and holds a LOT of rubbish. I would recommend it!
