a good cut but unlike the previous model i had , had trouble getting through 41 x 41mm unistrut ,about 1 mm shy even though it states a 43mm cut ,looking to the Milwaukie £240 or makita version £125 ( use a battery adapter £20 ) but unfortunately unlike the dewalt version they have the motor on the left side ,for me being righthanded the dewalt is the better side dont have lean over to see the cut ,just wish it done a deeper cut

Used this installing unistrut, ducting and conduit. The cut is much neater than those on site using an angle grinder and it is so quick, it really cuts through the metal like butter.Invaluable tool that owes me nothing.

It's OK for light and medium gage metals. Blades are too expensive and difficult to find for this saw, so because of this I would not recommend this saw.
Realy impressed with the saw, cuts unisrut like a knife through butter
Brilliant for many on-site tasks, cutting sheet metal, various profiles and handy for disassembling large plant.I have used it for:- Cutting steel durbar flooring sheets to size, cutting galv steel plates to cover holes in industrial unit walls, cutting 316 stainless box for commercial facade repairs, cutting aluminium profile decorative trim for commercial windows, cutting steel PIR roof sheeting, cutting rebar, disassembling AHUs, disassembling commercial kitchen appliances and much more.- Let the saw do the work and make sure the workpiece is well secured to ensure long blade life. Use a straight edge where possible.- No hot works permit required!- There are also two other blades available for Stainless Steel (DT1918) and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous (DT1910).
Have wanted one for ages and finnaly bought one for a job with lots of uni strut and tray to be installed.I would save it saved nearly a days labour against chop saw and filling.Cuts deep uni no problems.Not sure what the other reviewer was saying it wouldn't cut deep uni.
Brought this saw following using one on site great for cutting strut , rod etc great tool well worth the purchase
Bought this as all my tools are Dewalt .Did not cut 43mm depth that I needed on unistrut with a genuine Dewalt blade.Unistrut was only 41mm x 41mm.Was slow and jumpy had to turn over and cut again ,not neat & had to file it after.Go for the Makita much better tool.
Make cutting channel and stud so easy should have purchased years ago
