Very handy compact little chain saw. I looked at heaps deciding on Dewalt because they seem and feel tougher, they get good reviews and with the included 4A battery and charger (kit) was a good deal. This is the best deal out there.Not many brands do the top handle config which at this size (usable chain is 28cm) is a better balance for me. Not as powerful as a petrol one as electrics don't rev as fast but very convenient, super quiet, and surprisingly grunty if you let the saw do the job. Mainly its for pruning and firewood. So far its performance is better than I expected. Don't forget you need chain oil extra. I don't empty it when done but mine does not leak either. (stored horizontal, not hanging) I have read some leak on auto oil models.

Bought this a month ago as a replacement for another branded electric chainsaw and I have to say it's a great little beast of a machine .it's reliable easy to assemble and clean and as long as u follow the instructions that some people can't grasp to empty the bar oil out for storage it's a powerful light weight beast.perfect for cutting up pallets and small tree trunks and branches . Works so well I bought the line trimmer and drill and am super happy with those too.
