A decent piece of kit. Solid, sturdy and with pads for different floor thicknesses. Did GF living and lounge in 20mm engineered oak floor with approx. 1000 nails - 50mm and 30mm closer to walls so not much force was required to drive the nails. Not a single jam. Decided to ditch carpet for flooring in another room so can use it again. Bit expensive, but may be able to re-sell on completion. Will definitely last for years.

It's robust, reliable and gives a great finish.expensive but on reflection worth it, especially if used more than once.

Almost perfect

Handy tool but the nails didn’t drive all the way through my flooring (22m oak). Had to nail everyone in with a nail punch.

Absolute awesome I wish I bought one years ago the amount of time it saves and all fixings are hidden. The tool itself is well built, and fairly light to work with. I guarantee if you buy this it won’t disappoint

Purchased this after my original portanailer started to fire double nails, after 6 months of daily use I have no complaints and can recommend highly.

Excellent solid tool

Bought to fit engineered wood flooring in a difficult hallway, WC and utility room on a bank holiday weekend when the hire shops were closed.This is a very simple but very solid tool. It feels like it has been hewn from a single piece of granite - it is rock solid, does exactly what it is supposed to and does it very well. I only did about 20m2 with it but it feels like it would stand up to years of use.

Great piece of kit

This is another excellent product from Dewalt. Purchased after looking at other nailers to fit 130m2 of oak flooring with no issues whatsoever.Robust design and soft grip handle makes it comfortable to use, easy to load and adjust for ratchet or single blow nailing.A great piece of kit

Think it through

I have used both options:1) In the past I hired a floor nailer with time constraints, a tendency to rush to save further costs, arms got tired etc etc.2) Bought my own floor nailer. I am now taking my time, doing it at my leisure which is by far the better option.I guess as with all floor nailers, the harder you hit the nailer, the better the nails go in.I am more than happy with my purchase and wonder why other brands are twice the price as this DeWalt does the job perfectly.

works really well just as described, tried it on a odd piece of flooring just to get the feeling of the hammer then did 25M2 without any issues
