The DCM5713N 54V cordless XR FLEXVOLT split shaft string trimmer has a cutting width of 380mm and is powered by a DeWALT XR Li-ion 54V battery, giving you a performance comparable to a mains or petrol powered equivalent machine (battery and charger not supplied). What you don’t get is the nuisance of a trailing lead or the noise and fumes from a petrol engine. A 54V 3Ah battery will give you over 50 minutes cutting time at low speed. Supplied as body only without battery or charger. The maintenance free brushless motor provides high output and longer runtimes, ideal for this type of tool. The DCM5713N features 2 speed settings and variable speed control, plus a paddle switch and patented gear drive, which helps to maintain cutting speed under load. It has a cutting width of 380mm and comes with 7.5m of 2mm cutting line. The comfortable over-moulded auxiliary handle offers comfortable, well-balanced handling with control. The split shaft design makes it easier to transport and store after use. The DCM5713N brushless split shaft string trimmer is not suitable for use with a brush cutter attachment.
