DeWalt DCF801B Xtreme 12V Max Brushless 1/4 in. Cordless Impact Driver (Tool Only)

I use this professionally as an assembler. It is constantly working along with my other 12v tools. I started with DeWalt's 20v line only to discover that A. It's heavy, and B. it's large. On break at the store I was working at, I happened into their tool corral. One thing lead to another and I bought an impact driver kit. The weight difference alone was worth the switch, but I can get it into a smaller space than the 20v, It runs just as long as a 20v with a 3ah battery, and it puts out all the torque I need. Since these are far less expensive to buy on eBay vs a retail store, I've bought the rest of them here. (5 impact drivers)

I bought this drill along with the kit (batteries and charger). Honestly the first time I picked up the display one at Lowe’s and tried sinking a 3 inch screw into a 2x4, I had to have it. What other impact takes less than a second to drive 3 inches into wood? Coming from a Hercules 12v impact, this was a HUGE jump. The second I got my paycheck I went back to Lowe’s and bought this amazing drill with its 2 year replacement plan. I love how it feels in my hands.

This is probably the tool I use the most. It is so nice and packs a lot of power. I usually just keep it on low speed. That gives me plenty of power for nearly everything. I use it for making cabinets. One of the best things is that the batteries fit on the same charger as the 20v batteries. Good thinking DEWALT!!
