Bought this after my corded trusty 10 year old bosch SDS was sparking and smelling like fire.Itβs powerful, infact i usually always find a gap in the mortar to fix something but now I can be bothered drill the brick. With a good drill bit itβs like butter.5amp batteries make this a killer, used with a mates 4 amp, you could barely tell the difference but you could tell.

Excellent bit of kit ! Always a fan of dewalt and this was no let down, very powerful with a big battery , yet to find something it struggles with !
Great tools. It is light and convenient to work. It is not suitable for heavy drilling but is ideal for electrical work. Save a lots of time and is compact.
I bought this to replace my old identical SDS which still works but I wasnβt very kind to it over the last 3 years, you are only supposed to use it for light chiselling I have used it for cutting back boxes breaking up concrete chasing walls and cutting through walls as well as drilling holes with 100mm drill bits. Itβs been well worth the money so I donβt expect the new one to be any different just hope they still make this model in 3 years time.
good product - too early to comment on reliability
Compact and light making it easy to use in awkward positions and for long periods. Battery life is good and more then enough power to handle the job. Was brought as replacement for my old 24v sds and it knocks the socks off it. Chisel action is sufficient for light jobs such as removing wall and floor tiles. It has been used to remove a few bricks to fit an air brick and it coped ok
Having previously been using DeWalt DCD series drill it was realized I needed something more powerful than a hammer drill when drilling holes in concrete. Since the battery and charger in my possession was compatible with the DCH series, I thought this product would be worthwhile investment. Once upgraded with this rotary hammer, it simply blew me away how efficient it was in comparison to the hammer drill. Whereas the latter took many hours of work, multiple recharges and cooldowns, the former simply chewed through solid concrete like nothing. For a wireless power tool it exceeded my expectations. Being a product of DeWalt, it has as expected good build quality and will serve for many years to come.
