As a DIYER I do not have a lot of experience, however, I know when I see quality and when I don’t.I usually don’t skimp on quality items, but was tempted by this set as it boasted a good name and a low price for such a versatile set.I have tried the 3mm bits and they do not drill well through soft wood. The countersink bit is useless. You can honestly countersink faster by using a screw driving bit in the drill! Disappointed.I compared the bit holder with that of the bit holder from the dewalt impact bit set and there is a huge difference. An excellent set of DeWalt drill bits in a strong case. Bought to go along with my new DeWalt drill and on inspection this kit contains most of what any home DIYer would need. Purchased at reasonable price and looks a if it will cover a multitude of possible jobs if required.

Bought this set to go with my DeWalt cordless hammer drill. So far so good.. easy to find the correct bit for the job in hand and I’ve had no issues drilling into wood, metal or solid concrete. The screwdriver bits are also very handy. Love the compact case and it means everything is where it should be the next time it’s needed.

Bought a month ago as I urgently needed some metal drill bits,have only used those metal ones to drill through 4mm steel. The drill bits didn’t do the job,went to another diy company and bought individual bits that did the job perfectly. I use Screwfix a lot ,but this time wished I haven’t bothered
A nice case and quality as you would expect from DeWalt. Just bear in mind that this set is manly about hex shank screw driver attachments (70) and not so much about actual straight shank drill bits (only 30).So if that's what you want, go for it.I have not actually used them so can't really comment on performance and reliability, hence a neutral 3 stars.Next time I will read the small print more carefully
A reasonable price for the usual Dewalt quality - good selection of the most commonly used sizes in a robust case.If I had to pick any nits, they would be:1) The fitting for all the bits and drills in the case is tight - really tight. As an old geezer with occasional arthritis I find it very difficult to get them out of, and back into, their respective slots - usually need to lever them out with a thin blade screwdriver. Not really a criticism as it's better than having them clattering around loose in the case - just something to be aware of.2) The arbor for the hole-cutter uses a tiddly hex set screw to lock in place. There is no hex key in the case. Bought this the other day to go with my new DeWalt Combi Drill so I had the matching Bits etc.A very nice set in a compact storage box.Great selection of Bits etc I've only used one drill bit for masonry so far it was perfect for the job bit is well made.A recommended set.
I brought this little set when I bought my DeWalt drill at the same time. I couldn't find anything similar anywhere else for the amount of bits and value for money.I bit the bullet and bought this and once I opened it I straight away knew I made the right decision. It has all the bits you need from every day to day DIY jobs at home! It is perfect, drill bits for both wood and brick long screw pieces and much more! The pieces are well stuck in the holding area so you can be rest assured every time you open it you wont be having to be piking up the pieces from the floor or sitting there trying o figure out where everything goes!Don't think about it to much just buy it already! You will not regret it specially at this price!
I love DeWalt gear. All my power tools are DeWalt. So thought this kit would be good value. But having used some of the components I have to say they are very poor quality. The drill bits blunt after a single use and I had several of the pozi bits shatter...all the components seem very brittle and fragile. Looks smart but a big disappointment
I bought these as they were a reasonable price and the same brand as the drill I'd just purchased. DeWalt is supposedly one of the leading tool manufacturers.Unfortunately, despite keeping them indoors where its dry, all drill bits and screwdriver bits that have been used have rusted after just one use. One of the small bits snapped, just taking it out of the case.I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone now.
