The fence was made out of steel and not cheap tin or aluminum. It has several adjustments. When it was assembled prior to shipping, the assembler tightened the thumbscrews so tight they deformed and could not be removed or adjusted. The 8mm rods were mashed as well, but I only need the 10mm set, but they could not be substituted because of the damaged brass thumbscrew threads. The manufacturer was wonderful. They replaced the entire shebang.

I don’t know why this didn’t come with the router but it doesn’t. It’s a better than average guide and comes with both plain and screw rods. My only issue is that the vacuum / dust port isn’t the same as my other tools so I had to hack an adaptor. Why don’t the manufacturers settle on a standard hose and fitting size ... or provide adapters with the tools? Consequently I had to duct tape it until I could make a permanent adapter.

The condition of this guide was horrible. It is all full of rust and the screws are extremely hard to turn.I would not recommend this to anyone.

The instruction only says how to attach to router. No instructions on the micro fence. No instructions on the other knobs. No instructions on online or on yourtube. What gives? Wish I could rate this higher, but lack of instructions is really frustrating. Same complaints from other users online
Surprisingly no instructions and unclear how to properly set up/ adjust fine tune. There are narrow and wide holes not certain what setup works with what router setup.
Bought this and it came with no instructions. It came with 2 different size rods, but was unclear how to use them or what they were for, assuming they are for different size routers but not sure. It also came with wingnuts and springs, but not clear as to how these should be used (I think to attach to router). I thought that the instructions were not included by mistake so I went online to find out if they had instructions there, but no luck finding them on line either.
It makes no sense to me that you would offer and push this edge guide without giving any instructions on how to set this up or use it to its potential. The construction looks pretty good, but your customers need to know how to use this piece of equipment! I should have gone with Bosch... several of the reviews mention this problem and yet still no action!
Good adjustment mechanism. I will reuse it when I make a better edge guide. The stamping is not straight and required a bit of careful tweaking with a vise & crescent wrench to improve. The plastic shoes on the fence allow you to use a large file to get a straight(er) edge. Not great, but ok after some rework.
I use my tools for home improvements and woodworking projects. Mine did come with an 8.5x 11 single page instruction sheet. It was folded in quarters, maybe the others somehow missed it? In any event this is not a difficult thing to figure out. Two sets of rods; you pick the pair that fits your router base. Threaded knobs and springs; you use them in the router base in the same manner that the two screws and spring sets are inserted in the accessory fence. Seems common sense to me. This is a well-made fence with a very nice adjustment screw for fine-tuning the position of the cut. Great piece of equipment!!
