*Very tough & rigid quality that will definitely last*Longer length of shorts, to change it up from any shorter style*They do run slightly tighter/smaller in the waist but other than that, they provide a very clean and uniform style. While catering to many different aesthetics.*For sizing, would definitely reccomend going a 1 full, or even 2 full sizes above your usual preferred waist size.

Little more expensive then I remember, used to be able to buy 4-5 pair for that price.Also had a button bust on one of yhe pair while I was working, and I wear a belt so they weren't too tight.Usually never have an issue. Dickies always last years with my hard wear and tear. Only had 2 pair out maybe 30 that the sewing around waist just failed, belt loops stayed up and my shorts just ripped and fell off lol was a little embarrassing once, was in a Barns and noble buying a book for my kids birthday and they dropped in middle of the store. And now this one pair with the button I'll have to sew on a new one.Other then that, love my work shorts.

This Loose fit short is not at all loose in the waist. I’m a true 33-34 waist but always get a 36w for fit and room. The 874 pant, my favorite fits perfectly, but buying these “loose fit” shorts in the same size I can’t even fasten the hook! Cmon guys I love the product but your sizing is inconsistent. Disappointing.

I bought my son these shorts for Christmas, so he hasn't received them yet. However, Dickies Loose Fit 13" are just about the only shorts he wears, so I know he'll love them. He has them in several different colors, so I ordered silver this time. It's a very nice color--nicer how it looks online. I'm sure my son will be wearing them often, as he does with his red/khaki/navy/black ones.
These are comfy, loose, and have THE POCKET. Love that pocket. Like a shorts version of the double knee pants. 13” inseam gives extra coverage. Falls a little below my knee. Good stuff for summer
To keep this short and sweet, I've been wearing Dickies for probably the last 20 years, I haven't found anything that can compare with the comfort and durability. I've had Red Kap uniforms, while the shorts may be close, the shirts just can't compare. Essentially, my uniform in and out of work always consists of Dickies. By far my favorite shorts I've ever purchased.
I've been driving 3 hours to purchase Dickies that fit me the right way. I am 6 ft 3 280 lbs. Most stores carry Dickies but they are the tight fitting ones and that just won't work for me. So I thought I would have to make a trip 3 hours away to purchase the right ones I need. Then a light bulb came on and I thought let me go to their website. Once I did I saw all different kinds of shorts, shirts Etc. So I placed my order and I believe they arrived within a week to a week and a half. Most importantly they were the perfect fit. I've worked for the same company for 25 years and the only thing I've worn all those years were Dickies. They are very durable and last a lifetime.
My son loves Dickies shorts. Real Dickies. Because they are the best. So he's a VERY happy man with four new pair! His absolute favorite! He wears them year round when not at work. Thanks for the easy ordering and prompt delivery. Perfect gift!
I've been buying dickies for well over 20 years now, and I have to say the quality is going down hill, especially as of lately. I bought 3 or 4 13 inch work shorts from here at the end of 2021 and noticed that they looked bad. I just recently made another purchase a week ago and I compared them with tags and all. The little Dickies Tag on the knee and the side pocket were off and crooked on each one. The color seems to fade like never before. I have dickies from 2009 and 2010 that are darker than the ones I bought from 2021. God knows I put those older ones through the ringer to. The recent purchases I made, the clothing don't even come stiff and pressed anymore. The company's becoming a total let down man. What a shame.
First of all being born in raised in SoCal for 40 years I literally can not count the amount of shorts I’ve gone through. It’s a part of our lifestyle. They’re my work uniform, my casual uniform and my lounge shorts. I love these shorts.Yes there are some inconsistency in sizing but just order a size up. They wash up perfect and go with everything.The one issue I have is you guys have 22 color options in work pants. Same material. Same pants basically… just shorter with a multi use pocket.For 13” work shorts you have 10 colors. You guys had way more colors back in the day, why not have the same colors available in shorts and pants. You’ll sell em guaranteed. Y’all had purple shorts like 10 years ago and those were dope. Baby blue, red, orange, royal, camo ect. Why not hickory stripes. U had blue and white striped work shirts too…what happened.
