If you want a comfortable and extra-tough alternative to traditional belted work pants, try our bib overalls in durable cotton duck or finely-woven cotton denim. Both wear like iron (and are worn by ironworkers), resisting snags and tears. The sturdy triple-stitching and beltless roomy fit seal the deal. Other details include plenty of pockets, adjustable shoulder slides and loops, and two-button closures at the sides.

these overalls are wonderful! as a 6 foot tall 125-130 lb man, they're a little big on me, but that's moreso my problem, and to be expected. it's hard to find clothes with a 32 inseam length that are made for my waistline and build. the length runs a bit long compared to my other 32 inseam pants that are more like borderline high-waters on me, but that's honestly preferred due to the latter. all in all these are very durable and versatile stylistically, and i get tons of compliments. the leg pockets are nice and large and comfortably fit my stuff with no issues on anything falling out. i like 'em so much i bought a second pair. try 'em out.

I just got them and have not worn them much but a few things come up right away. The construction feels durable and yet comfortable. For the size I have (30 x 32) the legs could be a little bit skinnier so that it is not so loose. The main issue I have is with the pockets. The tool pocket on the right leg unfortunately is not wide enough for my cell phone to fit. On my Carhartts fit my phone perfectly. The chest has two pockets that are nicely placed, however, the are not deep enough to hold my cell phone and allow the snap button to close. Considering that at work and play, a cell phone is probably the most commonly used tool, I would recommend making some minor changes to this design to allow for a touch screen cell phone to fit in all available pockets.

HEADS UP: for slimmer framed individuals I would caution you from getting your usual Jean inseam, they are definitely bigger by 2-4 inches than what you’re used too. Absolutely love these Overalls! I’ve wanted to get a pair for years now and never followed through with getting a pair. After all the time I just got them and they are everything I’ve wanted from a pair! They fit larger than normal jeans but that’s exactly what a pair of overalls should be sized for. This is a work wear clothing item so it’s made for that exact purpose. You’ll be able to do your full range of movements necessary for physical labor. Will definitely be buying another pair!!!

I work a blue collar job, and have for the last 15 years. My go-to year round has always been Dickies carpenter jeans, and they've done me just fine all this time, but as the weather has been getting cooler here in Kansas, and I transfered to a different department at my job (material handling - forklift driving inside and outside all day), I figured a pair of bibs would be a good idea. And they were! For starters, I love that I don't have to wear a belt, and hike up my pants all day long. They also have added warmth on the front and back of your torso with the added bib.Secondly, they're Dickies. A first wash before wearing is a must, to soften ever so slightly the duck canvas, but after you do, they fit and feel so comfortably, you won't want to take them off. ... MoreI work a blue collar job, and have for the last 15 years. A first wash before wearing is a must, to soften ever so slightly the duck canvas, but after you do, they fit and feel so comfortably, you won't want to take them off. They also look really good with a flannel shirt and work boots, I've already had several compliments on them at work. All of the duck carpenter jeans I own have held up amazingly over the last two years at least, and I suspect these overalls will also last a long time with regular use. The material feels sturdy, which can be a bad thing in very hot weather, but good for cooler months. They breathe great, but thicker and more durable fabric is always warmer, just be advised. This isn't a flaw, just something I should mention. Summer in Florida would be a bad idea in these! All in all, I'm already considering getting several more pairs! They're just that great that I want to wear them everyday of the week! If you feel on the fence about these, don't think, just buy them, they're awesome!
Been heavily on the fence about buying overalls for a while, I then got a sale pair of dickies straight legs, that are awesome. So I took the plunge, and ordered 40 waist with the short. So first off, I wear a 38x30. I should have ordered 2 sizes up, because I can only wear the bottom side buttons, otherwise they’re snug on the tummy. Someone on the reviews said that the short length is like a 30. And I’m telling you it’s more like a 32. Also, these are made with zero taper, so these guys baggy and big. They’re much more of a boot cut.Material wise these are decently thick, they’re good fabric and comfy. They have a good amount of length for the suspenders.Good work overalls, not the best styling overalls. Decent is the only way I can truly describe them.
Great quality, very thick material (too warm for summer in the desert), stitching seems decent for mass production. Arrived a day earlyHowever...I'm 6'2 and on the absolute maximum sizing (eliminating strap pocket), the straps are still way too short on a male physiological body, by at least 2.5" for minimum comfort.Secondarily, most of the chest pockets are too small/shallow (for a phone or bigger) compared to some other brands I've owned.Otherwise, fantastic product
After realizing that the women’s styles all seem to have a short inseam, I purchased these classic men’s overalls (that weirdly also cost less than the women’s) to use as my work pants. I love all the pockets and the sturdiness of the fabric. I ordered the size 30, and while it is a bit large, there’s room to layer shirts and still move. The only tiny drawback is that, though the inseam is long enough, the straps are super long and I have to cinch them almost all the way back, causing bunching. I’m 5’9”, so not super short, but these seem to be made for very tall/long torsoed people. But I can’t complain, these are cut for men and also—it beats being too short all the way around. Just a heads up on that. But overall, I love these overalls!
This is my first pair of overalls. I've been watching the tv show Moonshiners and I started to like the look of overalls so I gave them a try. I went with black instead of denim because denim is a bold statement. Anyways, I've always liked the way Dickies brand fits, and Walmart had the best price I could find. They shipped to my door in two days. Very happy with my purchase. The reason for four starts is that the straps always need adjustment, but that seems to be common amongst all overalls.
I wear these everywhere. Never know when something gnarly will turn up. The secret is in the fabric that comes with the brown color. Unbelievably stout. What happens over time is battery acid splashes one drop on the fabric and that's the end, (eventually, but sooner). My idea was to save the worst mangled pair and use what good fabric remains as patches for the ones better off, but nobody knows how to sew patches near me. A fair deal when buying. Will wear these everyday for as long as I can slip them on.
The big is too tight for anyone with even a slight belly. And if you undo just the top buttons it somehow becomes far too loose. The legs are also not comparable in size to all the other pants. Out of curiosity I tried them on over a pair of carhart insulated bibs that were over a regular pair of pants and the legs fit over just fine. Not sure why Dixie’s thinks we need that much leg room but not enough belly room. Seems backwards. All that said the actual quality of production is great. As usual.
