I think Dickies are a 5 star product in general. My only issue with these shorts is the length. I know I bought the extra long ones on purpose but I was surprised how long these actually turned out to be. I'm 6' tall and have been having problems with shorts coming to my knee barely or above. Considering this I bought the extra long shorts. They were like flood pants! I can compensate by wearing them up a little higher so I'm going to keep them but in hindsight I would get the regular length ones. Know your measurements gentlemen and avoid buying super long shorts. Unless that's what your going for in which case buy these!

These don't look well because after only a few wearings at home, there are friction "balls" forming on the Dickies shorts. This is apparently due to the content of the material which doesn't seem to be wearing well at all. Disappointing! The "balls" on the Dickies shorts make them look cheap and shabby. Why would you make clothing that men wear and work in that get friction balls on them? I ware a 40 but I always order bigger so I order 42 and comfort to me. My parents never could afford for me and I been in Dickies for 20 years. I buy from the website but use to buy from wal mart but the only place you can buy 15" shorts and when I put them on I feel like I'm back in the 90's. They need to do more colors in the 15" like Camo stripes checkers put some flaire into it. Maybe flames even get creative because the bad thing is you guys are not creative in the colors or the stripes or patterns you have like old man colors only and that's not cool I'm 44 years old and I like to dress like I'm 16

I actually bought these for my dad. When I was out visiting him, he told me that he couldn't find the longer shorts anywhere. So I went to Dickie's website, found the ones he wanted and shipped them to him. He was really happy! I might buy some myself, or one of the other products. There is much more to choose from now. Love these shorts.One of the pairs I ordered approx.8 years ago are finally showing significant wear and has a hole in the left pocket. The others are still in tact and used on rotation daily.They start out pretty stiff when they are new, soften quickly and last a looooong time.Keep making them please.
Great shorts. I like shorts that hit below the knee, but I'm 6'5" so that length tends to be hard to come by. But these 15" inseam shorts fit the bill. Same quality as their 874 work pants, and very affordable. I also like how they come pretty stiff when new, and gradually soften up as you wear/wash them and break them in.
Nice all around besides the phone pocket is not deep enough, causing phone to stick out and fall out of pocket easily. I have worn Dickies shorts year round for 20+ years and I haven't had this issue with other pairs. Very disappointing every time my phone falls out of phone pocket. Also convenient for pick pockets with phone sticking out of pocket. Please let me know when you fix issue and send me some pairs. Thanks

I, and I'm sure thousands of others, I am sure, want to know what happened to the offering of the 15 inch inseamDickies real denim, no stretch carpenter shorts that I absolutely loved for 25 years? Just overnight they are discontinued with no concern of what customers really want and love. I personally am very disappointed and there isno substitution for this item except for an 11 inch inseam Flex shorts, no comparison!
nice shorts, great price, have a few pairs of the same from like 5 years ago. Dickies last forever.The only complaint is that the tunnel belt-loops are pretty darn tight with my thick belts so threading the belt through the loops can be a little snug. I dunno if others have the same problem, maybe it's my thick belts, it's not a deal-breaker...good quality shorts at a great price.
