Dior Addict Shine Refillable Lipstick 744 Diorama

Gorgeous formula and color! Tie and Dior is such a flattering and wearable color,whether you’re going out or running to the store. This is a rosy nude on me and I love it. It’s more like a gloss with a bit more pigment and I love this. The formula is not thick at all,it glides on beautifully and without the need for a mirror. It looks very natural and low-key, but at the same time can tie my whole face together or brighten it up if I’m otherwise barefaced. Purchased at Nordstrom. This is the Dior addict shine refillable lipstick and there are lots of color choices for this line. The idea is that you can refill the actual lipstick without the case saving a few dollars. The colors are beautiful and the formula is very comfortable. This is advertised as giving 24 hours of hydration, I wouldn’t say it’s quite that long. When the lipstick fades your lips do feel some hydrating properties left over. These all have a flattering, glossy finish. These do not last 6 hours as advertised. Comes off if you eat or drink anything. I’m always sipping on tea or water so I have to reapply on the hour. This sample came in a punchcard format, which I personally do not prefer but at least it gave me the option to choose my preferred shade. My lip balm preferences often lean towards the more neutral, nude hues, so I opted to try shade 100 Nude Look. I tried to prep my lips prior by first applying my Dior Addict Lip Glow in Beige - my current favorite - however this still did not save me from the pigment clumping or collecting into the dry crevices of my lips. This of course was not the look I was going for. Still, the actual color of the product was gorgeous, and was extremely flattering to my “no-makeup” makeup look. While I cannot achieve the saturated pigment of this product with my Lip Glow, I feel as though my Beige Lip Glow comes awfully close in pigment with this product - and without the pigment saturating into the crevices of my parched lips. I think if there were a hybrid product between the Lip Glow and the Dior Addict Shine Lipstick, it would be the perfect product to meet my hydration needs while also giving that opaque, full coverage pigment that is so visually satisfying. There was a slight trailing scent to this product that I did not care for - which is shocking, because the Lip Glow smells like delicious white chocolate in comparison, and I had quietly hoped that this would smell the same. There was an odd, almost fig-like smell that I was getting from this (product is said to contain jasmine floral wax). I am giving this 4 stars because of the beautiful shade, non-transferable quality, and lasting power. Minus 1 star for the dryness and smell.

I love this lipstick. I have paler skin, who tans in the summer and have been searching for the perfect pink nude that looks good whether I’m pale or tan. I got the color 329 Tie Dior and OMG it’s the perfect nude pink with shimmer - it’s my perfect shade I’ve been looking for; whether I’m pale or tan! It doesn’t feather, it is long lasting, moisturizing, and the packaging is beautiful. It is a little pricy but it’s worth it to me because it’s my PERFECT SHADE that I’ve been dreaming about forever. I bought a second one as soon as I tried it because I don’t want to run out! The formula is beautiful. Highly recommend this lip product.

Honest verdict. 1. Texture: Smooth, hydrating, not necessary to wear lip balm. I like that its glossy giving my lips a lustrous feel without all that yucky shine. 2. Shade/ color: The name suggests its nude so wasnt expecting a bright or obvious color. Also now that Im in my early 40s my lips have turned from pinkish rosy to pink purple. Hence the eventual color of the lip shine on my lips is a light nude with slighty peachy undertones. Gotta swipe a few layers for color to be more obvious. I think it works better if you lean towards heavier eye makeup so a light lip may appear more chic. However i am generally a light makeup person so either i wear it on its own for subtlety or layer this under a bolder color so the lipshine acts like a base. 3. Gorgeous balanced red

Love Dior Addict in Silk Scarlet. I have medium brown hair, blue/green/gold eyes and light skin, generous lips naturally and THIS, this color, is gorgeous. It does fade where the lips meet and stays better on outline of lips. That said, if I used liner for sure would last better. But, I don't care about the fading - I hate stain lipstick and I really like this lipstick. It's a gorgeous red that I searched for hours through several high end beauty brands to find. Dior won. And upon receipt, the prize stays. You know how some red lipsticks make teeth look a bit yellow (ugh!) -- NOT this one! Love the formula but color descriptions are off

I usually use clean products but this formula is so creamy and comfortable that I am obsessed with these. They will not stay in place all day but I prefer that as I can reapply or change colors throughout the day as needed. It does not dry out my lips which I love. I've tried 6 colors and finding the right color is tricky. I've only been able to keep one. I have light skin with somewhat pigmented rose full lips for reference.Rose Dior is described as a blue pink and looked beautiful on me when I did the Dior website try on. Beige oblique was subtle but nice- very close to my lip color but more nude less pink. Dior cannage was way too warm brown for my lighter skin tone. The only winner was Tie and Dior which is a beautiful pink on me with a bit of shimmer. Normally, I don't like shimmer but this is subtle and lovely. I'd love to buy more of these but the colors just don't work with me.

My perfect nude!

I have several dior lipsticks, and have had several others over the years searching for my perfect nude. I do not have a lot of pigment in my lips and am pretty fair skinned so everything shows up on me, and fairly true to color. The shade 418 Beige Oblique is my most perfect nude!!! I am 42 years old and it hides the vertical lines in my lips so well while being smooth, glossy and almost moisturizing. Although the tone is cool/neutral, it can go so well with even warm tone eyeshadow looks because the lipstick is about my perfect match of color to the inside of my lips. This is really a, "my lips but WAY better" type of lipstick for me. I am so worried that this shade will be discontinued because that is what happens with literally everything that works for me.
