Its much more toned down than in the EdT/EdP. It has lots of that dark vanilla note which sets the EdP apart from the EdT. The Parfum makes it ever so slightly sweeter and denser. Also you get much more depth because of the prominent nutmeg note. Not as strong as in the Elixir though. If you ask me it’s a completely overlooked DNA which sits right between the EdP and the Elixir. A perfect combination of freshness and a cozy sweet spicyness. The longevity is good and it will last you for a whole day. The sillage on the other hand is much weaker. For that’s a plus. As a regular user of the eu de toilette version of Sauvage I thought I would have a change and buy the perfume version. I am extremely disappointed in this product, if I could return it then I would. Despite it supposed to be superior to the EU de toilette it's no where near as good.When I used to wear the toilette version I received complements every day, even from men, asking what brand I was wearing.Please don't waste your money and buy the perfume version, even after going over the top on spraying it on me, the scent soon disappears. I can't put into words how disappointing this product is. If I could return it then I would. It's really pointless using it as the scent disappears very very quickly. I recently purchased a Dior perfume and was initially planning to buy the smaller size. However, I saw that if I spent over $220, I would receive a bonus gift. This persuaded me to buy the larger size, which cost exactly $220.Unfortunately, after completing my purchase, I received an email saying that the bonus gift had been canceled because it was unavailable. What’s even more frustrating is that the website still advertises the bonus offer when you spend over $220. If the product is not in stock, the site should be updated to reflect that.I’m really disappointed with this experience, as I feel misled. I was excited about the gift and based my purchase decision on that offer. Dior, please ensure that your promotions are accurate and up to date.
