I was expecting something similar to the previous fragrance but it is very different but with a slight tint of the other. I didn’t like it the first 3 times I smelt it. I’d sprayed it had a smell of burning wood that disappeared a few seconds after spraying. My wife likes it so that means the lady’s like it that’s the most important thing. It’s expensive I paid the same for the last one and got a 200 mil bottle this is half the size for the same price but it does smell different. The previous sent has been worn to death by everybody so this is new. You can’t go wrong with the any Dior sent for men or women there always a well received gift at Christmas. My experience don’t buy what you like buy what they like then people will remember your smell. Two squirts 3 max of you’ll wear to much this stuff is strong but it’s top quality. It’s really expensive for a 100 ml bottle when there’s a lot of 200 mil bottles for the same price but it does smell amazing on.

Actually reminds me a lot of Terre d’Hermes with the citrus spicy woods, but this one has the bitter grapefruit as opposed to the dry orange. Also kind of reminds me of the birchy versions of Aventus (and/or their clones) for the same reason. This one also has the lavender that gives it some nuance and aromatic flair. Doesn’t really have the sweetness that something like Spicebomb Extreme has, which is good for others, but some might not like the lack of sweetness. My wife complimented me on it as soon as I walked in the door from work, close to 11 hours after applying. When I went to take off my clothes later that night, around 14 hours after applying, it was still going strong. So definitely in the beast mode category of fragrances. Price is a little on the high side (around $150) but I still think it’s reasonable, as you don’t need to be using a lot of sprays and this is not an all-year fragrance. Not really blind buy safe, as it is a strong spicy smell that isn’t super sweet and not everyone will be into that, or into smelling that on themselves for 12+ hours. Overall a pretty great fragrance, as it’s kind of hard to deny the quality, effect, and performance of this one. A good one to pick up if you need a winter banger and have the money to spare. I wouldn’t say it is one that everyone NEEDS to have, as there are a lot of other similar frags out there that fill the same role, but I would say it is definitely one to consider if you are indeed looking to fill that role in your collection. Definitely a crowd-pleaser, compliment-puller, and amazing performer. 8.4/10 for me, which is pretty darn good

Yes it’s ridiculously strong, yes it projects hard for a few hours, lasts for at least 12 hours on skin, days on clothes, years in your memory. One of the few scents that I smelled at the store and on the mailed scent sample from the magazines and had to buy immediately. **WARNING! This is 100% a single spray fragrance on the chest (skin) if you’re indoors. 2 Spray MAX if you’re outdoors. Super potent, don’t be a jerk and overspray. I’d also advise against wearing this in high heat, since it’s super cloying in those situations. Cold/cooler weather only imo. But rock it now during the summer if you’re feeling it. You do you. I normally wear Blue De CHANEL and I haven't cared at all for any of the Savauge fragrances.I purchased this because of the notes and a sample given to me.It's an amazing scent on me and the compliments are off the charts.One full spritze down my neck and chest and I'm done.It lasts for hours, I've used it during the day but find it more suitable for the evening.Unfortunately the bottle that I received was damaged and leaking and I went to return it and they only had the larger size which is just to much for an evening fragrance.The dry down is just as amazing!This gives Bleu De CHANEL Parfume a run for its money for sure.I own several nich fragrances and this has become a top three.I'm thinking about repurchasing in the store itself.
