Diptyque Eau De Toilette Discovery Set

This kit allows you to sample five different scents from diptyque at the regular price point of one perfume. I would say this is a great introduction into the brand or even as a gift. However, I purchased this online as wasn't able to test out the scents and found myself really only into one or two perfumes. I would say the lasting power is around 1-2 hours but a light scent lingers throughout the day if put your wrist to your nose. The packaging is in a mini mist bottle made out of glass and holds quite a bit of product. I would recomend testing out some of the scents before committing to a whole kit. Lastly I would say my favorite scent is do son, it's a light fragrance with notes of plumeria or tuberoses which reminds me of Hawaii

Diptyque Discovery/Travel set

I bought this set because I was inquisitive about Eau des Sens and the Philosykos, I have tried most scents(Eau Rose, Eau Duelle, Fleur de Peau, Oyedo, Ilio also Doson) these scents last especially when layered with the body line. This set allowed me to try these fragrances to see if I really like them before committing to a full size bottle. The fact that they are travel size is a plus. Eau Rose is clean, fresh and beautiful like a fresh cut bouquet of red, pink and white roses. I like the green freshness and milky fig combination that the Philosykos gives off and the dry down is subtle but still enjoyable. The orange blossom, patchouli, Angelica root along with the juniper berry are a lovely combination and the dry down on this is sexy and fresh to me. I have to admit that the Do Son in this kit is not my first encounter, my first encounter with Do Son is in the shower oil, it is sharp and sweet with a touch of green; a breathtaking, sensual combination of tuberose orange blossom, jasmine and amber wood it dries down subtle, light and dewy, a little goes a long way. Exquisite set

I found this on sale and wow, this is one stunning set of fragrance. I only have Diptique Rose which is wonderful but this set allows you to try many of the bestsellers without hurting the bank. Portable and really good value. I recommend this without a doubt. I have my favourites already.

Great set for travel or trying

I bought this set for travel and it’s served me well for that purpose. I like the little cloth bag included in the set too, so that I’m not just throwing a nice vial of fragrance in with my other toiletries unprotected.I would recommend smelling each of the fragrances separately before buying if you can to determine if you like enough of them, if you are concerned about price and getting the most use out of them. I certainly like some of the fragrances more than others and my use reflects that. But sometimes my fragrance preference can change day to day, and that’s part of the fun of this set. I do wish some of the fragrances were longer lasting, but they are still enjoyable. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Eau Rose!

One bottle not full and dirty bag

I'd like to get a travel size of Lombre dans Leau and it turned out that it could only be found here in Walmart. When I received the package, the Lombre dans Leau bottle was not as full as others, if you compare the third one with others. Also the bag attached came dirty. I decided to keep it because I wanted this one so much but I have to say some problems existed in this purchase.

Perfect Diptyque discovery set

I bought this last year to have some travel sizes of two of my favourite perfumes, and these sizes are perfect for holidays or even for your day bag - the handy fabric cover is a great protector for the glass bottles. However, it also allowed me to try other Diptyque perfumes and these are now new favourites (I seem to have a soft spot for Diptyque), and good sizes to try before buying a full bottle. Highly recommended, and a lovely box they come in, too!

Pretty bottles and packaging

This is such a good selection of Diptyque's eau de toilettes. I have bought this for myself twice as it contains fragrances that I quite like, but would rather buy 5 travel sizes than a single larger bottle. The bottles are pretty and you don't lose the luxurious sensation of holding a crafted bottle while spraying. Great as a gift as well.

Very disappointed

I bought this set a while ago and have really given them a go, but I absolutely regret this purchase and do not recommend it. Do Son is one of my favourite scents so I hoped that I would enjoy most of the others but sadly no. None of the fragrances last, I have never been complimented on them and the Eau des Sens is so terrible smelling it makes me genuinely nauseous and I had to give it away. Incredibly disappointed and wish I spent the money on another fragrance at Mecca. I have the Replica fragrance set and would highly recommend that instead.

Well overated IMHO

Super excited to receive this. Quick shipping + gorgeous quality packaging. My current HG is Molecule 01 without layering. I saw so many great reviews about this range particularly Do Son and Eau de Sens that I was really keen to try. Almost shocked by how meh and powdery most of the fragrances were. Minimal staying power. Received ZERO comments from others when wearing this different days which is unusual as am a perfume buff and try lots. Gave it a few weeks to ensure no hormonal interactions skewing my perception. Maybe a bad batch but all were poor and underwhelming. Expensive lesson fail. Give this a hard pass.

fresher scents

This is a good introduction to some of the fresher fragrances from Diptyque. I think they would be suited especially to Spring and Summer. I really like three of these: Rose, Philosykos (gorgeous but sadly doesnt last long) and L'Ombre Dans L'eau. I would say L'Ombre Dans L'eau is the one I wear most. It has a nice fresh tangy-ness and lasts better on me than the other two.
