Before I begin I must say I am bias to begin with because this was a gift from my mum. If you are a sucker for a beautiful packaging moment then you will love this. Not to mention the delightful scent of citrus, jasmine with notes of vanilla. Think island holiday. This is a lovely scent and now it’s portable. Yes it is a win.

I LOVE my Do Son solid perfume!!! The case is beautiful. small, weighty. I wear Do Son spray on perfume and the solid has a stronger scent that lasts longer and doesn't get on my jewelry like can happen with spray. I love Do Son, the tuberose is very pronounced and exotic. the lovely case for the solid is great to carry in a purse or is beautiful on a dressing table or mirrored tray. A precious purchase.

The packaging is adorable—both the design and weight are perfect. However, the solid perfume's longevity is disappointing. After just 20 minutes, the scent fades to the point where it's barely noticeable on your wrist. The fragrance itself is lovely, but I'd recommend buying it in a different format. In comparison, the eau de parfum I sprayed on a tester strip lasted for about a week

It's a very fresh scent and best suited for warmer weathers. This is also very fitting to wear at any time and location/event. The staying power has been alright, lasts maybe 2 - 4 hours before I feel the need to reapply (but then again, I've been wearing long sleeves so it might've rubbed off). This is my signature scent and I love it. I have been very happy with the product's longevity, because I purchased my solid in June of 2022 and only just ran out in Feb 2024 (after daily use). As a quick note, I don't think this is a safe blind buy - best to try it in person.For anyone interested in buying this solid:1. The compact is small, but quite heavy and stylish2. The wax itself is light and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin3. You can purchase dual refills once you've finished the first tin of fragrance, which is very handy!!
I can’t give it a poor rating because I kept it. The case has a nice weight to it and I like the artwork in the lid. The perfume reminds me of a bush outside my Auntie’s house back home on the South Side of Chicago. I always stopped to smell don’t know why because I don’t remember liking it but anyway the perfume has no Sillage, I am barely smell it when I put my nose on my skin. I love the case but this is not for me I wear my perfume because I love how it makes me feel and how it makes the person who gets a hint of it fill. This is not strong enough. I also got another sample when purchased from the Vendor and it smells fine but the scent doesn’t linger. Maybe I need to use a lot more than my other perfumes.

I bought this perfume at the original Diptyque store in Paris as a nice souvenir. I had actually gone in for a different scent but fell in love wit Do Son. To me the solid perfume is perfect for travel because it's not a liquid and its very compact. The fragrance also sticks around much longer than spray scents. I love that I can get refills for my compact from Nordstrom.
This product is perfect for those that already have Do Son perfume. The scent of this solid perfume on its own is not strong, but it is absolute a perfect match with the liquid perfume. It greatly extend the duration of perfume as combination. If you love the scent of Do Son, you will definitly need one of this exquisite portable one.
