Diptyque Scented Candle - Ambre (Amber) 70g

This smell resonates with me so well, I can smell this candle from far away and it doesn’t have to be lit to be smelled. It’s a scent that envelopes you I would describe it as warm, woody, Smokey expansive and sophisticated. I loved this candle so much I went and bought the room spray from diptyque also in the amber scent.

My first Diptyque Ambre candle was a Christmas gift from my now sister-in-law. It was the best thing I’d ever smelled. My only regret is that the scent is so addictive, it was gone much faster then I could’ve anticipated. To date this is my absolute favorite candle. While I love fragrance, many scents cause headaches for me. This is only calming and soothing, and guests absolutely adore it. 100% a fantastic blind buy.

I love warmer - cozy smells. I gravitate toward ambers and vanillas and this is the best amber yet. It is pricey but the scent is concentrated and it’s worth it. Burning for even a few minutes gives off a great amount of scent. Even when the candle isn’t burning it gives off a lovely scent. This will always be one of my favorites despite the cost

An astonishing warm rich scent. It is so intoxicating it makes you want to take the warm wax and use it like a solid perfume. Like all of the Diptyque fragrances, it is multi-layered, with only a hint of spice and vanilla, but dominated by resinous amber. It will fill your room and home with warmth.

Beautiful Scent

I have not tried Diptyque before. I love scented candles, but do not love candles with overpowering scent. Too much of a good thing! The Ambre Diptyque candle was a perfect balance of a lovely fragrance without the headache. It was light and beautiful, just enough to give your room a pleasing smell. I will be trying other scents for sure.

Great experience when buying these candles. They do not have any opened for you to smell, but the do have the perfumes out for you to test most scents. The candles themselves are incredible. The smaller size still has great throw in my living room and they smell amazing.

Soot accumulation…

I wanted to like this candle, but the soot build up is not good. I guess that’s paraffin candles for you. Soy based candle does not seem to have this kind of problem. It’s just my opinion.

Surprisingly good

I love amber, but not when it’s powdery. I ordered the smaller size of this candle to try it, and it’s a warm, slightly sweet amber without that powder note. The throw is good, and it pairs beautifully with Feu de Bois in the colder months. I could see burning this year round, when I want to feel cozy and a bit extra! It’s a sumptuous scent.

Wonderfully, subtle scent

This is a darker, warmer, more sophisticated scent than other Diptique candles I have had. I like that it is a bit more on the subtle side. I feel like it radiates it's scent perfectly without being overt or obnoxious. I honestly purchased it after my daughter showed me a tiktok on this candle by a famous "Nose" that she follows. This is his all time favorite scent and he's not wrong. It's amazing.
