Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur 700 ml

This is by far, my favorite drink of all time. I added to my list of drinks that I "keep on deck" many years ago. If you like to keep your bar stocked with a variety that is sure to please, this is a winner. Beware, this is a very sweet, Italian almond liqueur --- and I love it! Most likely it will need to be chased with something - like cranberry juice or ginger ale (my fav). Of if your feeling frisky, have it on the rocks. This drink is usually served at the bar as an Amaretto Sour, incorporating sweet and sour mix and Sprite. I encourage everyone to try it, as I doubt you'll be disappointed. Cheers!

Always ask for Disaronno... Disaronno sour, Disaronno on the rocks... Once upon a cocktail I forgot the magic word that is Disaronno and received a subpar sour cocktail. I asked the bartender if this was Disaronno. He said I needed to specify. You definitely can tell the difference. Disaronno Originale is most likely the original amaretto liqueur, dating back to 1525. It is not an almond liqueur. It is actually made from apricot pits! According to the company the amber colored drink is an infusion of apricot pits oil with "absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits". ENJOY!

This is one of my all time favourite tipples. This is a very well-balanced and smooth drink that works perfectly with Coke Zero (tastes like an alcoholic Dr. Pepper) or orange juice. This drink gives off an almond aftertaste which is not too overpowering. It’s an absolute love of mine that I purchase every festive season.

I have a couple collections of smaller fancy "liquer" glassware, and this is what you put in them, small, shot sized appertif servings of yummy Amaretto. We absolutely love Disaronno and coke in a cold glass of course. It has a remarkable flavor and goes down smooth. It tastes like amaretto and almonds too. But it doesn't have any almonds in it, just that wonderful sweet flavor. Disaronno is also good with Bud Light, so strange eh, that it kinda tastes like Dr Pepper when it's been mixed. Amaretto Disaronno is an Italian liqueur, easily recognizable by its bottle and its unique and inimitable taste with the scent of almonds. It has an amber color and the scent is sweet and fruity. In addition to almonds, other aromas such as orange peel, cherries and dried apricots and caramelized sugar are recognizable. It can be drunk neat or with ice, or used in the making of a cocktail.

If I'm not drinking vodka sprite Disaronno Sours are my jam. I totally feel like my mom right now but how could you dislike amaretto? And Disaronno is the best brand of amaretto hands down. I always have some of this in my fridge too because it's not a high proof so imo it's more of a treat than a drink. Make sure to garnish with a maraschino cherry to make the *chef's kiss* yummiest cocktail ever invented! Also, amaretto is great for baking too, so yummy in cookies and homemade icings.

The Disaronno Original Amaretto Liquor is fabulous alone and made into a nice drink. Both taste phenomenal. My recipe In glass included Sprite, Lemon Juice and simple syrup mixed well with a double shot of the Amaretto. It’s great! The price point is fair I strongly recommend this amaretto to others.
