I'd be honest, I was crestfallen and felt very skeptical about the mattress protector when I first opened the package. It felt thin and flimsy compared to my earlier IKEA tencel (lyocell) filled mattress protector that now was a bit too small for my new mattress. The waterproof polyurethane lining on the underside made me worry that it could feel like sleeping on a plastic sheet.Anyway, I washed and allowed it to dry before setting it onto the bed, and testing it for the night. Yet I am secure in the knowing that the mattress protector was there, doing its job of, well, protecting the mattress.The reason for the 4-stars (I wish I could give half-a-star more) is that the mattress protector seems to run a little narrower on its width, such that the polyester pocket couldn't tuck under the mattress on either sides (but it did so perfectly at the head and foot) and the mattress protector pad still left a sliver of exposed mattress on either sides (could be the mattress' tolerance in dimensions too). But not a deal breaker ultimately.

We like the simplicity of the product. It just does the job for which it was designed. No excess padding. We appreciate that it's not to thick which could interfere with the performance of the mattress re excess heating and perspiration issues. Many mattress protectors are also quite thick which makes them difficult to fit the mattress into a quite tight bed base.

Surely wake-fit mattress protector is 100% waterproof. You can blindly go for it. The quality of the sheet is too good. Don’t have to worry about the size or fit. It covers the entire mattress. You can never feel warm. It's so comfortable. Price is also reasonable and it’s worthy.
