DJI Mavic Mini Drone Fly More Combo White, Black

The DJI Mavic Mini is a compact and lightweight drone that is designed for casual photographers and videographers who are looking for an easy-to-use and portable drone. Here is a review of its features: Pros: Size and portability: The Mavic Mini is incredibly small and lightweight, making it easy to transport and fly. It can fit in the palm of your hand and weighs just 249 grams, which means it does not require FAA registration in the US. Camera quality: The Mavic Mini has a 12-megapixel camera that can shoot 2.7K video at 30 frames per second. It also has a 3-axis motorized gimbal that provides smooth and stable footage, which is rare for a drone at this price point. Flight time: The Mavic Mini has a flight time of up to 30 minutes, which is impressive for a drone ... MoreThe DJI Mavic Mini is a compact and lightweight drone that is designed for casual photographers and videographers who are looking for an easy-to-use and portable drone. Flight time: The Mavic Mini has a flight time of up to 30 minutes, which is impressive for a drone of its size. This allows you to capture a lot of footage without having to land and recharge the battery frequently. Intelligent features: The Mavic Mini has a range of intelligent features, including GPS-based position tracking, automatic return to home, and pre-programmed flight modes such as QuickShot and Dronie. These features make it easy to capture cinematic shots with minimal effort. Cons: Limited range: The Mavic Mini has a range of up to 4 kilometers (2.5 miles), which is lower than some other drones in DJI's lineup. This can limit the areas you can fly and the footage you can capture. No obstacle avoidance: The Mavic Mini does not have obstacle avoidance sensors, which means it can collide with objects if you are not careful while flying it. No 4K video: The Mavic Mini is limited to shooting 2.7K video, which may be a dealbreaker for some professional videographers who require higher resolution footage. Overall, the DJI Mavic Mini is a great drone for casual photographers and videographers who are looking for an easy-to-use and portable device that can capture high-quality footage. While it does have some limitations, such as the limited range and lack of obstacle avoidance, it is an excellent option for those who want to get into aerial photography without breaking the bank.

If you're in the market for a drone, I just wanted to let you know that the DJI Mini 3 Pro is one you don't want to miss. This little guy is amazing with its 4K camera and flight time. First off, let's talk about the camera. It's amazing. You can capture breathtaking footage in super high quality. With its size and weight it’s incredible what this can do. And in Canada you don’t need a licence to use this because of its weight. I am in love with it honestly. And I really like flying a drone now even though it can be a little scary sometimes. For the negative parts, I would say the obstacle avoidance is not the best, so you need to be careful.

Amazing Drone!

I don't see enough good reviews on products so I'm going to try and covey the quality in this little drone.1st it feels solid when you pick it up and it looks well made the edges are smooth.2nd the first flight was easy if you follow the software you download from your phones app Market.3rd first flight went easy. It is super responsive and does what you tell it. Take note on first flight it will be slower than spec. It comes in a safe mode of sorts so new users DONT break their new aerial vehicle. The software you install and use to control the phone has alot of features so take your time to familiarize yourself before you start doing crazy stuff.4th The camera is AMAZING and takes photos that are superb and records beautiful video. Very STABLE video. The video does not shake while in flight.5th after you take your drone out of safe mode this small forms factor drone cruises nice. Learn to fly with the screen and by visual site.I could say more but I hope you get it.I was not paid to do this review or solicited. The cons is you need a extra battery or 2 and a fast charger.I get 20 too 30 minutes flight off one battery but it depends on how you use it. Recording video or flying fast will suck the battery and limit you too 15 minutes. Regular flight no recording 20 plus minutes.I highly recommend this drone for a first time user or a experienced user. It has features that it's big brothers in thr Dji line has.Enjoy and fly safe and responsible.

DJI to me is pretty much the gold standard in drones.

This is the original DJI Mini and frankly I don't see any difference between this and the mini 2 and or mini SE, I supposed most of the difference is in the software. I had tried a couple other brands with stabilized gimbles and what i found to be the greatest feature is that the mini is easier to control when making very small inputs. Put it in Cine mode and you just can't screw up!!! Flight time is roughly 30 minuets and with that if there is a complaint I have it's that it does not come with an external battery charger. You put the flight battery into the aircraft to charge. So I bought a 4 port external AC powered charger that can charge up to 4 batteries at the same time and also has two USB outputs, that allows the TX to be charged at the same time as well as ... MoreThis is the original DJI Mini and frankly I don't see any difference between this and the mini 2 and or mini SE, I supposed most of the difference is in the software. The 2.7K camera is more than enough resolution for my hobby needs. I didn't want to spend that much for a drone and as it turns out this was cheaper than a Hubsan that i bought and like this way better. Have fun

Dapper drone

I am a beginning drone user and this drone is extremely easy to operate. I was worried that I would crash it and break it, so I am pleased by the ease of use. There are two reasons it doesn't get five stars from me. The first, and this was something I suspected might be a problem, but couldn't find any clear statements about, is the dji fly app is not compatible with my Samsung, so I can use the drone only when my partner is around with his iPhone. The other reason, and this may be something we figure out over time, is the camera doesn't look down. I purchased the drone to survey a large bit of land recently purchased. The camera seems to look out over the horizon, instead of down to the ground. Again, this may be something that can be altered with a photography app ... MoreI am a beginning drone user and this drone is extremely easy to operate. Overall, I am really pleased with this product and purchase. I like that for the price, I received the drone and all the accessories. There was no need to purchase anything separately.

Great Seller Return To Home Not Effective

I had a test run with the dji mavic mini and it was my first time flying. I launched it from the fourth floor of my apartment and there were no winds. The drone unfortunately started moving towards the right side on its own as it kept going, I immediately pressed the return to home button as it took off on its own so that it would come back to me. Unfortunately it did not respond and kept swaying and flew away as I saw it going. The drone lost connection and eventually landed in a bush slightly far away from the apartment block. I tried tracking the find drone function by checking on the map but it wasnt accurate. I scouted the area and found it. I hope future updates will fix this, the drone camera isnt that clear and night visibility is completely shabby. Im ... MoreI had a test run with the dji mavic mini and it was my first time flying. Great a little drone for beginners

Purchased for occasional use, and as a beginners drone. Overall this drone is very easy to fly, but it also has it’s drawbacks, which are why the drone is less expensive. With the lack of obstacle avoidance you have to really be paying attention to where you are flying. I have to wear cheaters for most up close work, so trying to fly the mini from my Apple iPhone 11 Pro is a bit of a challenge. I ended up using some special safety glasses I have for the range that have the bifocal portion on the upper part of the lens, so when I look up to the sky for the drone I can see it, and when I look down at the screen the bifocals help me see the screen. They are made by a company called SPS. It’s easy to lose sight of the drone due to it’s size, so being spatially aware so ... MorePurchased for occasional use, and as a beginners drone. It’s easy to lose sight of the drone due to it’s size, so being spatially aware so you don’t panic that you just crashed $400 into a tree. The features on the drone are very good for the price point, and I certainly don’t regret purchasing the drone. I would recommend doing smaller flights until you get comfortable with it’s range and flight capabilities. One of the best features for beginners is the fact that the drone will not take off in a designated flight path. I live not far from an air force base, and my property sits just outside the flight path, so I was able to use the drone for checking and inspecting areas of my roof, or fire place, getting arial footage for outside projects to work on the design. In the summer we love using the drone to fly off the front of our boat and investigate areas near us for depth and debris that could potentially damage our boat. It helpful that I can land the drone right on my hand ifI need to.I could go on and on about all the neat features, but the bottom line is this. This is a great drone for beginners and it will provide enough experience to determine if you want to invest in larger, more sophisticated equipment. I also recommend to purchase this drone as the whole package because it comes with the extra batteries and storage case.

Great value for a powerful drone with an excellent camera

The DJI Mavic Mini at THIS price is a great deal! I wouldn't pay full price for this particular drone, but for less than $300, this is a top quality drone that performs beautifully. I am quite satisfied with it. Of course, you could probably find a better looking drone at the $200 to $300 mark. But there are a few things to consider. The Mavic Mini shoots in 2.7 K with an excellent camera. Even if a drone says it shoots in 4K it may not be as good as this. If it is an unfamiliar brand, it is probably worse. And if it says 4K it might only shoot PHOTOS in 4K and actually shoot far smaller in video. The Mavic Mini is also only 249 g in weight, meaning it doesn't have to be registered if flown recreationally. Other drones in this price range weigh a lot more. The Mavic Mini is also only 249 g in weight, meaning it doesn't have to be registered if flown recreationally. Other drones in this price range weigh a lot more. They will need to be registered. The DJI Mavic Mini also has a true three axis gimbal for the camera which is itself vibration-isolated in the body by rubber shock absorbers. This makes the captured video crystal clear. Other drone's in this price range lack 3 axis gimbals or have poor isolation between the body and the camera resulting in wavy video known as jello. And the DJI controller paradigm is vastly superior to most cheaper drones because the cheaper drones use wifi signals which are limited in range to a fewhundred yards and do not penetrate structures well. The Mavic Mini has excellent range and penetration making it less likely you will be in a situation where you cannot control the drone. It is a fact that it is HARD to crash a DJI drone. You have to make a series of mistakes in a precise and deliberate order to get past the safety features. The drone also makes breaking the law harder since it won't even take off in certain airspace or weather conditions. This might annoy some people. But it beats loosing a couple hundred dollars with a crash or a few thousand with an FAA fine! This drone falls squarely between the cheaper toy-grade and the much more expensive professional grade of drones. I would classify it as hobby grade, edging a bit into the professional grade in terms of camera quality. I attached a few photos taken by the drone and one of the drone itself in the included case.

Low cost, rich feature set, extremely compact... all in a very complete package

I've owned five or six drones over the years, but this is the best. It does everything my Phantom 3 did (well, except 2.7K video instead of 4K, but that's plenty good enough for me, and the stills are the same 12 megapixels) and more. But unlike my bigger drones, the Mavic Mini is super-compact and lightweight--easy to store and easy to carry. It's a pleasure to fly, as long as you don't try to buck winds above 10-15 mph. I usually fly in the early morning, when the light is best and the wind is low or nonexistent. I'm very happy with this drone, especially at the affordable price for the refurbished "Fly More" kit. The kit, by the way, looked and worked like a brand new unit--shrink-wrapped, with all accessories down to spare cables and joysticks. Mark's review of DJI Mavic Mini Drone Fly More Combo - Light Grey

Pros: This is my first serious drone and I went for a DJI because we fly it's big brothers at work. As my first 'personal' UAS the Mavic Mini is perfect . I couldn't really justify the extra cost of the Mini 2 and don't really see what extra value it really brings, sure greater control range but under UK CAA regs you are not permitted to fly it out of sight so the Mini is fine. Camera stability is awesome with full gimble and the auto take off landing and return to home very impressive tooCons: For the price there are some features which are lacking and are now standard on much cheaper drones, ' Follow me' being one. Also the ability to get it to fly s pre programmed route I don't think DJI include this on the Mini 2 either. It would seem that DJI could fix this ... MorePros: This is my first serious drone and I went for a DJI because we fly it's big brothers at work. It would seem that DJI could fix this with a simple upgrade on the DJI Fly App. Also DJI don't include FPV either but there are a number of third party Apps out there and I have had fun flying ' first person' using some cheap VR goggles purchased on Amazon and WiFi linked to my phone.
