Let me first say that I have had many drones, currently use a Mavic 3 pro, and it's an AMAZING piece of equipment that I use multiple times per week, so I'm a DJI fanboy for sure...Now for the Mic 2...... First problem, the Orange (output) TRS 3.5mm port on the receiver no longer functions at all. I tried factory reset, updating firmware... it's dead. So to get audio to my camera I have to use the headphone output, which is not as good a quality. The safety tracks stopped working, so no matter factory resetting or firmware updates, the safety track shows enabled, but it's never recorded, it's just completely not there, can't figure out how to fix that. The case only charges the transmitter on the right side, the left side no longer charges the mic, so I have to ... MoreLet me first say that I have had many drones, currently use a Mavic 3 pro, and it's an AMAZING piece of equipment that I use multiple times per week, so I'm a DJI fanboy for sure...Now for the Mic 2...... Like many others I called and talked to support, they said they have no knowledge of the product so the transferred me... I waited to be transferred for 59 minutes then at 60 minutes the line was disconnected..... Wow, just wow.

Finally a smart solution for travel photographers/videographers and reporters. Really enjoyable to use on camera, stand alone, on mobile phone, by bluetooth or to enhance a boom mic without the hustle of cables. the pouch is very much welcome too, as it just serves perfectly for lav mic, windscreen, cables or skin stickers. An other good reason to like the brand (and a massive compliment to B&H, selling the device on wednesday morning NYC and delivers in Zurich on friday afternoon!!!! respect!)

I’ve owned the Rode wireless go for a few years now. And now that I got this mic… is like NIGHT AND DAY.The noise cancelling feature literally cut down a huge part of my post production workflow. I don’t have to edit AT ALL. The ability to record without even plugging it into the camera o phone… just pure audio is amazing for podcasts. The ONLY thing I guess DJI should come up with is a WEDDING BUNDLE. 1 Black 1 White. In order to get this bundle I had to build it my self, costing me almost $100 more óˆ€ but it’s worth every penny!

Mics are supposed to be descreet. Why DJI decided to ruin something that was already perfect is frustrating. I just received these and DJI went overboard with putting their logos everywhere. For now I’ll have to cover everything up with Gaff-tape. DJI— take your logos off the lav mics and off the magnets. You had it right the first time. But leave at least one side of these magnets solid black. Honestly, one should be black and the other side gray like the original magnets for the Mic 1.
After using multiple Rode lavalier microphones and putting up with labor-intensive setups and constant audio synchronization, I decided to get a DJI Mic 2. I adore how simple it is to use; you don't have to go through fifty menu options to find what you're looking for thanks to the clear, uncomplicated UI. The audio quality is outstanding; I had no idea anything this little could record sound so well. It's suitable for use as both a chat mic and a sound effect recorder. worked flawlessly with my MacBook Pro, Android smartphone, and Sony FX30 camera.
My honest review, and no I do not really do reviews but I tell you what, these mics are SUPER GOOD! Easy to work with and the audio is great as well. When I say it’s a plug and play I mean it. Makes it easy. It is Bluetooth as well but I like to use the receiver just because I feel like it has a better audio quality compare to using it as Bluetooth. The other thing is that if you do want to use the mics as bluetooth YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD A THIRD PARTY APP. Which Dji does not tell you which is why I’m only giving it a 4 star.
I am very happy I jumped into trying these new DJI Mics 2's. They are feature rich with a lot more controllable options right from the touchscreen on the receiver. They have good options for hooking directly into smartphones, and they are smaller than my Rode's. The magnet clip options is a good addition for the transmitter lavs. These are very cool. Alos there is an optional wired tiny neckline lav clip on.
I've used these for 3 interviews now and they're phenomenal. The audio quality is amazing and 32bit float is a game changer in such a small package. Add a little noise reduction, eq, compression, and add a limiter in post, and you're basically DONE. (Adobe's new enhance audio feature is almost a 1-click solution for most of this).I love the addition of the physical knob, I hope that trend continues with v3 down the road. My only wish is that I could pair additional transmitters to the receiver and see everything at a glance rather than have to buy a duplicate set if you want more mics.
I am a wedding videographer, I bought these mics in July after reading so many good reviews and the hype about the 32bit. I have TRIED to use these at several weddings but they're insanely unreliable. You can search reddit and other forums and you'll find the same complaints everywhere but DJI doesn't appear to have a fix. And if you're outside of the narrow 30 day window B&H will not let you return them. Wedding audio is a once in a lifetime moment, huge moments in someone's life that cannot just be re-recorded unreliable audio recording is a major issue! Here's a list of the reoccurring issues I have had with this system:More often than not, only get 1 of the 2 transmitters will connect to the receiver. The transmitters only work with certain Lav's, and there doesn't seem to be any consistency with which they work. One day I used a Tascam Lav and the transmitter fed into the receiver just fine. The very next weekend the same set up wouldn't work with a Lav at all. As soon as I unplugged the Lav the transmitter started feeding to the receiver again. Then I tried a Rhode Lav, same issue.Recently, the transmitters themselves have just stopped recording altogether. If I press the record button it blinks red once and vibrates. (If it were recording, it would vibrate then the light would be constant red. The single red blink means it's not recording) This weekend the transmitter actually stopped recording HALFWAY THROUGH A CEREMONY and I lost all of the audio for the later half of the wedding. The next day at a different wedding, it wouldn't record at all and I had to break out my back up gear.I have done firmware updates, emptied the transmitters of any previous recordings and am still coming up with the same issues. I am beside myself with frustration and between poor customer service and B&H and DJI. If you shoot weddings or any other event that is a one and done, can't be re-recorded event. DO NOT BUY THESE!
