Almost perfect litter. Low-tracking and minimal dust. Awesome clumping. Decent odor control. I'm glad to see that it comes in a larger bag size now because 5.5 lbs isn't that much when it comes time to replenish a whole box. I noticed that after about 4-6 weeks, the older/used material starts to breakdown into a powder. Once that happens, it's best to replace. I have two cats, so I'm sure it would last longer if it were just one.

I tried this cat litter with my cats, and their review of it is kinda Mid (so,so). When first opening the bag, I noticed it did have a pleasant scent without being overpowering. My cats were very curious and checked it out thoroughly. I did provide this litter in a separate box while leaving them a box of their regular clay, so they could decide. The new litter does work well and clumps. The only thing I didn't like about is the large peices of litter. They are hard to get to fall through the scoop and also hurt a lot if they get on the floor and u step on with no shoes. So, after the initial excitement of something new, I would say the new litter box gets maybe 10 to 20 percent of business, while the clay litter seems to still be the fave. In conclusion, I found it ... MoreI tried this cat litter with my cats, and their review of it is kinda Mid (so,so). Update:2 weeks. Still no smell and working great. It's like grains of rice. Clumps for easy scooping. Seriously my new favorite litter. No dust, its been a week and no smell. Used by 3 cats and it is holding up well. Scoops easily. Im impressed with how clean it seems and the mess reduction compared to normal litter.

My cat seemed skeptical of this litter and remained skeptical after 2 weeks of using it. The first thing I noticed about it was the smell of the litter itself. It was very yeasty and almost barn-like. It wasn’t pleasant but not unbearable. Secondly, I noticed how much louder it was every time my cat used the litter box, compared to his normal litter. On the plus side, my cat tracks a lot less litter, and it’s generally easier to clean up. The litter clumps well and is generally easy to scoop as well. That being said, my cat really isn’t a fan, and seems to try to avoid the litter.
I am very impressed by this litter and like it more than I thought I would. I have had cats my whole life and have always used traditional clay clumping litter (except for with kittens). I have tried "natural" litters in the past and always felt like they were messy, fell apart, and quickly became really smelly. This is different. This litter holds together really well and clumps tightly to make cleanup very easy. It does not track nearly as badly as traditional clay litter and for that I am so grateful. It also has no smell. It does not get stinky at all and it stays really clean. My cats are happy to use it. I also love that it is dust free and sustainable. I am happy to use this because it is a great product, my cats like it, and the environment likes it!
I've been using Dofu Unscented Clumping Tofu Cat Litter and am really impressed. It’s made from natural, plant-based ingredients, which I love for both my cats and the environment. The unscented formula still controls odors well, and the clumps are solid and easy to scoop. There’s also much less tracking and no dust, which is a big plus in my home. Cleanup is easy too since it’s flushable. Overall, it’s a great eco-friendly option that works really well. Highly recommend!
Dofu Cat Litter is a very different product. The litter is unscented but has a pleasant aroma and has absorbed odors very well. It is much easier to clean up outside the litter box because of its pellet shape as opposed to "gritty-gravel type" litter. I have noticed much less wasted litter that results when my cat enters and then exits the litter box. Dofu litter clumps very nicely and is easily removed when cleaning the litter box. My cat was a bit hesitate at first, but after checking the litter out, he has had no problem with using the litter box.
I switched from traditional clay litter to soft wood a year and a half ago and was excited to see another sustainable, more earth friendly option. The litter looks like ice cream sprinkles and smells slightly like Play-Doh. I have five cats and seven larger sized litter boxes so the 5.5 lb bag did not fill the litter box completely. It looks like you would not need as much in the box as compared to traditional litter though. There is hardly any dust, but it does track outside of the box. I was surprised at how quickly it clumped and how it stayed together while scooping. Margot was my first cat to check it out and use it. She did not seem to mind the change. The only downside is there are only two size options for bags. I used to love the Frisco tofu litter but they changed their formula and it’s now very fragrant.I purchased all of the tofu litter brands Chewy has: Really great cat litter, Pidan, Frisco, Michu, and this one - Dofu. They are mostly similar, Michu is not as good at clumping. Frisco and Really Great Cat Litter are equally good at clumping. But all of the other tofu litters have a scent to them that I don’t think is appealing. This brand is the least scented of all of the other brands.
What a great concept! Eatable cat littler... (just kidding). This sustainable, eco friendly and compostable litter is made of Bean and Pea Fibre, Corn Starch and Guar Gum.First off I love how light weight it is. This 5.5 pound bag is enough to fill a medium size litter box. The next bigger size would be 13.2 pounds. I'm hoping they will add a value size bag to their assortment sometime in the future. For my 5 cat household I would have to buy multiple small bags to fill up all of our XL-sized litter boxes which would really drive up cost.I was really surprised that my cats had a relatively short transition phase before they started using the new litter for small and big business. It has a pleasant neutral smell, there's no dust while scooping and it tracks very minimally. It's also easier to sweep up than clay litter. It clumps well into a play dough like consistency and is easy to scoop.I was really impressed with how well this litter is working for us and I love that it's earth friendly. The cats are using it without complaint so we have a win win.
